Allan Leverone is well known author from Massachusetts, America who has written a number of successful novels. All the nine novels written by him are based on the mystery, thriller and horror genres. The novels written by Allan are so successful that he has gone on to feature in the USA Today and New York Times bestselling lists. He is particularly famous for publishing the Paskagankee series, which consisted of three highly successful novels. The novels of the Paskagankee series were released in the years 2012 and 2013. One of the dark thriller novels written by him, ‘Mr. Midnight’ has been named as one of the best books of the year 2013 by the Suspense Magazine. Another novel titled ‘The Lonely Mile’ which was included in Amazon’s top 25 highest paid bestselling novels of all time. Allan’s successful writer career has won him numerous awards and nominations and one such prestigious award that he won was the Derringer Award in the year 2012. HE was also nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Allan has stated in his interview that he was greatly influenced by the works of writers such as Vincent Zandri, Stephen King, Lawrence Block, Zeltserman and Tom Piccirilli. Almost all of his writings have depictions of one of these famous writers’ style of writing. Allan was born and brought up in a small town named Ayer in Massachusetts, United States. To this day, he lives in Londonderry, New Hampshire along with his lovely family. His small and sweet family includes his beautiful wife Sue, who has been married to him for more than thirty years, three adult children and a lovely granddaughter. He also has a miracle cat named Midnight, who, according to him, has survived many adventures along with his family.

Allan has said in his interviews that he has been greatly fascinated by the idea of writing all throughout his life and showed interest in writing for the first time when he was just ten years old. During that time, he had written his first thriller novel, which showed the story of a young man who gets lost in the woods during a heavy snowstorm. Later, his dead body gets recovered after a few months, he was found as huddled against one of the trees in the woods with a single drop of frozen tear on his cheek. This novel was found quite surprising by many other authors as Allan had written it at a very tender age of 10. At such a small age, he had given the proof of accurate insight into the thriller genre and had started his journey of becoming a successful writer. After passing out from school, Allan attended the University of Notre Dame by enrolling himself for a degree in newspaper journalism. However, he changed his mind after his freshman year and went on to major in Business Administration. This too proved to be of no use to him as he never utilized it after changing his course to novel writing. Before becoming a writer, Allan Leverone intended on becoming an air traffic controller and was hired by the Federal Aviation Administration, despite not having any prior experience of flying in a plane. After the successful training from the Administration, he began working for the air traffic control department in Providence. Since then, he has switched to many places like Rhode Island, Maine, Bangor and Boston but has never left his job as an air traffic controller. He has been stationed at the Logan International Airport in Boston for the last twenty years. He says that he likes his job of controlling air traffic and likes to write novels in his free time. He has tried to keep his both the jobs side by side and has become fairly successful in doing so. Allan has been a proud member of the Short Mystery Fiction Society, the New England Horror Writers and the International Thriller Writers associations. Many of Allan’s successful works have featured in a number of online magazines and anthologies.

One of the novels written by Allan in the beginning includes the ‘Final Vector’ which was published in the year 2011 by the Medallion Press. The novel introduces the central character named Nick Jensen, who is an air traffic controller by profession, and depicts his mysterious life. In the opening sequence of the novel, Nick’s wife gets brutally murdered by an unknown killer. After a small break, he begins his duty at the Logan International Airport, Boston to continue working as an air traffic controller. He finds three men controlling the corridors of the secure FAA facility dressed in black fatigues and heavily armed. The FAA facility was considered a highly secure tower, but the terrorists had taken control of the tower by the killing the patrolling armed guards. They had full access to the control tower and were waiting to carry out a devastating operation. The terrorists had done so in order to assassinate the president of America who was about to visit the Logan International Airport. Nick tries to prevent the terrorists from killing the president by risking everything. He tries to counter attack the terrorists with the help of his fighting skills and firm the determination of saving his country from a possible havoc.

Another novel written by Allan Leverone in the beginning of his writing career includes the ‘Darkness Falls’ which was published in the year 2011 by the Delirium Books. The novel shows the creepy horror story of the life of a novelist named Tyler Bechman. Tyler’s career as a novelist hangs on his luck when he returns to Darkness Falls, his old hometown in New Hampshire with a view of resurrecting his Allan career as an author. He fled from his hometown around twenty years ago after the triple murder of his sister and parents and had moved to New York. He had written 6 bestselling novels based on gothic horror and had received a lot of fame and money. He had lost all that after getting indulged in drugs and women. After moving back to his hometown, Tyler tries to revive his lost wealth by renting the apartment of the imprisoned killer of his family. Soon, his writing career begins to flourish again. He begins to write his best novel in order to regain his lost fame. However, an evil force tries to target Tyler Beckman in the town of Darkness Falls. Tyler tries to save himself by dodging the malevolent force, which was considered timeless and unstoppable. The novel was written in a fast-paced and seductive manner by Allan. He did a wonderful job by writing a well narrated and atmospheric story of obsession, madness, loss and revenge.

When it comes to the genre of Thrillers and Horrors as far as writing is concerned, Allan Leverone carries the day. Born in Ayer, Massachusetts, The United States, Allan Leverone developed the passion for writing at a very tender age.

At the age of ten is when he put down his imagination and reveries into literal paperwork. This story of a man that got lost in the woods during a winter snowstorm and later was found dead, heaped in a tree with a single tear drop frozen on his cheek was a clear revelation of his inclination towards suspense, thrillers and horrors as far as writing is concerned. This is what has made him build a name for himself when it comes to New York Best Sellers.

In his early life, Allan Leverone attended the university of Notre Dame where he had dreamed to pursue Newspaper journalism. His dreams and ambitions took a different trajectory after his first year at the university. This saw him switch to Business Administration. He was certified as an undergraduate and directly quoting him, he said, “I received a Business Administration Degree in 1981 and to this day I have never put it to use.”

This was just a tip of the iceberg when it comes to the ironies that have faced the life of this prolific writer. After clearing school, Allan Leverone landed a job at the Federal Aviation Administration as an air traffic controller. Despite never setting foot on an aircraft before landing this job, it was only fair that he had to go through training to fit into the shoes of this new career path. Allan Leverone has held this job to date and taken writing as something he does on his free time.

Allan Leverone is also a family man. Besides writing and being an Air Traffic controller, He has a full-time job of being a husband to his lovely wife, Sue, for nearly thirty years. He is a father of three daughters and a grandfather to one granddaughter. He put down most of his literature work at his office in Londonderry, New Hampshire, which also happens to be his home.

Penning thriller and horror stories saw Allan reach some milestones that most writers (rookies and veterans) live for. He is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of eleven novels. His work has seen him interact with his peers in forums like International Thriller writers, Short Mystery Fiction Society and New England Horror Writers where he is an avid member and contributor.

The Final Vector, one of his novels, is described as captivating, thrilling and mind blowing by readers. It depicts a man called Nick Jensen whose wife is murdered under very unfamiliar and unclear circumstances that make authorities shifting blame games and eventually not resolving the murder. Evidence suggests that Lisa, Nick Jensen’s wife, during her auditing work, had uncovered some dirt on a fellow employee’s computer. This was suggested as the cause of her death. No one pressed charges, no arrests were made and the matter was sooner than later water under the bridge.

Nick, an Air Traffic Controller by profession takes a hiatus as he seeks to regroup before joining the Aviation industry again. This time he is posted in Logan international Airport Boston. Work kept him busy to avoid the pain that comes with losing a spouse, Nick buries his head in the sand and works hard at the airport. His line of duty lands him in a very challenging situation. He is in the middle of a siege when he witnesses the heavily armed guards that were deployed to manage the FAA killed in cold blood by terrorists who take control over the tower and takes hostages including Nick. They did this intentionally since the president of the USA was going to make his visit to Boston the next day. This was an outright assassination and Nick put his body on the line escaping from the terrorists’ hands, overlooking all the uncertainties and unknowns as he seeks to rescue the president from the hands of the same Terrorists.

Produced and published the same year, 2011, The Last Mile is one of Allan’s series novels that saw him rise to star dome. A father, possessed by good will, naturally helps a girl break free from the hands of a kidnapper. Bill Ferguson who was a struggling hardware store owner happened to do this courageous act out of good will. Little did he know he was digging his own grave?

A serial killer, a sociopath nicknamed as “1-90 Killer” sought revenge on Bill’s rescue mission. In response, he concentrated all his energy on Bill’s family targeting his daughter who was seventeen at that time. The 1-90 Killer does all he can in his power, stalking, following and tracking the girl’s routes until he finally kidnaps her.

Now Bill has to be a store owner by the day and a detective by the night. Bill knows he has to put away emotions and regrets so that he can stand a chance of rescuing his daughter. In the end, Bill ends up losing more than his only daughter.

Allan Leverone books and series have seen him secure a spot in the intentional scene. Right from his tender age of ten when he penned his first thriller, Authors and publishers all over America knew that Allan was a treasure yet to be explored. His imagination and creativity at that tender age was amazing. He natured it, practiced hard and earned a spot in the hall of fame when it comes to Thriller and Horror stories writers.

Scooping a number of awards and gaining international recognition. His book Mr. Midnight won The Best Book of 2013. Also, 2012 saw his scoop the Derringer Award for his excellent work in coming up with short mystery fiction stories. A year before that Allan Leverone was nominated for the pushcart prize nominee. His works, short stories have been published and made appearances in prints like Needle: A magazine of Nior, Shotgun honey, which is a twist of Nior and Shroud Magazine, Morpheus Tales among other prints and online magazines.
