Chris Grabenstein is an award winning American author, born on the 2nd of September in the year 1955 in Buffalo, New York in the United States of America. He was born in a family of four brothers, together with his mother and father. It while young that Chris Grabenstein started do demonstrate his witting skills and passion, some trait that could be seen when he actually won his first writing award while in his fifth grade. Meanwhile, Chris moved to Signal Mountain Tennessee from where he studied his junior high school at Chattanooga’s Notre Dame high School. In fact, it is during this time that one of his great teachers told him that he would indeed one day make a living as a writer.

Subsequently, in the year 1977, Chris Grabenstein graduated with a degree from the University of Tennessee, college of communication and Information. Thereafter he got involved himself in various activities and jobs, from where he became an advertising executive as well as a comedian. For almost five years, he actually performed and worn various awards with some of the top improvisational comedy troupes, by making songs and performing in front of live audiences, just like they what they did on Whose Line is it anyway. In fact, Chris is known to have been doing some improvisational comedy in the city of New York together with a young man known as Bruce Willis, that is before his former boss, James Patterson came and recruited him to write some copy of an advert where he spent almost 20 years writing television and radio commercials for companies such as Seven Up, Burger Kings, Dr Pepper as well as for Kentucky fried Chicken and a lot more.

However, in the year 2005, Chris decided to fully put his hand in writing books, it is this time that he published his first novel. Since then he has never looked back. Actually, from then on, Chris has since written numerous novels, writing fast paced and fun page tuners for the children and adults. Plus, he has also been collaborating with his former boss James Patterson to write children novels. Around the year 1986 Chris and his college friend Ronny Venable both wrote a movie for CBS TV, which was christened the Christmas gift. Well that movie starred John Denver and it is still being shown almost every year usually at the Hallmark channel during the Holidays.

In the year 2005, that Chris produced his debut novel the adult Ceepack/Jersey shore mysteries series, Tilt a Whirl and which New york times actually regarded as an entertaining debut. As a matter of fact, Chris won the Anthony and the Agatha award for this John Ceepak shore mysteries for the book Tilt a whirl, while the others such as Hell Hole, Whack a mole, Mad Mouse and the Mind Scrambler together with some thrillers such as the Slay Ride , the Cross roads and the middle Grade chillers as well as the Hanging Hill got a lot of praises.

Thereafter, Chris Grabenstein proceeded to write more books under this series, like the Mash Up of Jersey Shore, Big Brother and the Survivor. Until now, Chris is not only one of those accomplished author of more than 20 books, but he is also a screen writer, a playwright, a former advertising executive as well as an improvisational comedian. Apparently, Chris a dog pet named Fred, who has since starred on Broadway music legally blonde. In fact, Chris’ book Whack A Mole is actually dedicated specifically to Fred, while Chris’ first dog, the late Buster had the One Man’s best four legged writing partners dedicated to her.

Well, some of the other books and series that Chris has also written for young readers include books like the Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s library, the Treasure Hunters Series, 1 Funny series as well as the haunted Mystery series, the Riley Mack series and a number of funny books and eBooks out there. Chris Grabenstein is therefore quite a talented and a prolific writer that may not down the pen too soon. Almost every book that he puts his pen on turns to be a fast paced page turner, with some of the of the books such as the Tilt a Whirl from the the John Ceepak Mystery series being quite an interesting and an intriguing book;

In the Tilt a Whirl book, there seems to be no much sun in the fun when some real estate billionaire is found killed on the Tilt a whirl beside a theme park in Sea aven, which is otherwise a quiet summer tourist town. Well, John Ceepak is just back from Iraq and has joined the police department at Sea Heaven. Apparently the police job offer a came from an army buddy who hoped to give John at least summer season worth of rest and a relaxation to help him forget those horrors from Iraq war. However, he ends up being at the top of the investigation of that murder case. John then partners with a 24 year old part time summer police Danny Boyle, who does not carry any gun but only works during the day in order to get some pocket money to aid night life with his beach friends .Well, the Tilt a whirl events pushes Ceepak’s sense of honor and integrity to the edge and unexpectedly twists and turns keeps the truth spinning so much almost in every direction.

Another Chris Grabenstein’s book that is part of the Ceepak Mystery series is the Mad Mouse. Well, this is a sequel to the Tilt a whirl. In the book it is Labour day and the end of summer which may as well mean the end to someone’s life. A young part time summer policw, Danny Boyle is down the shore in the sea heaven, in New Jersey lands a wild ride when him together with his long time beach friend becomes the target of some mad man’s misconstrued desire to revenge. Luckily, John Ceepak, a cop and a former soldier with an shakable code of honor, remains at Danny’s side to help him negotiate the turns and twists that are threatening to destroy Danny’s life and his fries as well as everything that Danny loves.This books keeps you on a whirlwind of events from the beach to the board walk, back and forth till the end.
