Authors are one of the most important peoples in the world of linguistics and visual arts. This is partly because they contribute to the continuity of that sector and mainly because they try to relive some of the past events, animate them and put them in either writing or performed arts. Authors have become widely known due to their specialization in that particular field. Chris Nickson is no different since he is an established author.

About Chris Nickson

Chris Nickson is a British born citizen who is widely known as his reputation precedes him; this is mainly because he is a renowned novelist a biographer and a music journalist. The author was born in 1954 in the town of Leeds. The city of Leeds is spatially located in West Yorkshire, but he spent the largest portion of life in the United States. The timeframe he expended in the United States could be dated to around 30 years since he was as young as 21 years. Nickson grew up in Leeds and during that time, he had started to show signs that one day he was going to be a writer or an author, and this could be supported by the fact that he wrote essays in school, and these articles would leave many dumbfound. As a young boy, he also engaged in other musical involvements that would include poetry and music. Later the young boy participated in events being a bassist and a songwriter who had the capability of playing the guitar.

As early as 1994 Nickson had started to earn a living from writing; Most of the time that he was in the United States he spent it writing and playing in bands. His significant involvements were in music journalism; music journalism could be described as the art of intertwining both music and writing. Most of the work done by Nickson has either been published or printed in both online and offline platforms. Other works of Chris are also published in audio books. If you were observative you would note that most of Nickson professional work and background environment is set in the town of Leeds; many think that this is large because he was born and brought up there so he knew he spatial locations of the place and could add some more creativity to them to make his tales look more exciting.

Nickson did some primary specialization in the field dealing with the origin, and the world of the of the regular columns he wrote was that of the global rhythm magazine and was their dedicated columnist for several years. Apart from being a columnist for the global rhythm he also wrote a guide to the world music; this guide was popularly known as NPR Curious Listener’s Guide. Other major books include the broken token, two bronze pennies, the history of Leeds and the crooked spire

This author also made some major contributions to interviews and reviews about some websites and magazines. Nickson also specialized in writing of biographies, and he died this for several celebrities. Some of the stories and tales written by Nickson were based on what he noticed or saw in real life situations. Chris used vivid descriptions and symbolical terms to bring the stories to life and make them appear real. Nickson made sure that he had integrated the culture and customs of the people of Leeds to his takes to make sure that those aspects available in that old timeframe were not left out.

Major series by Chris

1. Richard Nottingham books

This particular author is known for writing a series of books known as Richard Nottingham. The books are a mystical mythology that is set in Leeds in the early 1730s. Richard Nottingham is the major act in that series and has been featured extensively as the constable of the city and has a deputy by the name of John Sedgwick. The major theme and the coverage of these books are mostly about murder and the strings attached. These novels normally cover the life of people of Leeds and the family setups. The family setups of both the constable and his deputy are put on the spotlight with the knowledge of how their relationships grew and changed.

Full coverage of the wealth and poverty levels of the people who lived in Leeds at that time was also highlighted. Politics is an important aspect of a community layout, and the politics were also highlighted as well. It has been portrayed that there was one law for the rich and would be considered to be lenient while the other law applied to everyone else could be considered to be brutal. Constable has shrewd dealings and has a keen social conscience while his roots are deeply engraved in the city. The family of this constable is portrayed with sly humor and some warmth aspects.

2. Dark Briggate Blues

Another series was that named Dark Briggate Blues that is also set in Leeds in 1954.The series features one Joanna Hart, who goes into the office of agent Dan Markham to enquire about an issue and the agent though that this would be an easy scenario only to be shocked later. Joanna is described as a very beautiful blonde with swinging hips and scarlet hips. The blonde wanted to know whether her husband Freddie was cheating on her. The situation becomes more complicated when Freddie is later killed, and the suspicion falls on agent Dan due to his involvement in the case. Multiple sources of evidence against Dan come up, and the agent realizes that the entire case was a setup.

In this exciting series the agent has to fight for his life and that of his client; to do this Mark has to find out who’s behind the setup and why. Background information has been provided that Markham had been in service in the military intelligence, so his has to use the skills acquired there to be able to fend off these dark forces against him and his client. The big question is whether the agent will be able to be of any match to the killer who has multiple spies everywhere in Leeds and way past beyond.
