His mother wrote incredible novels in the horrors gender, and Mr. Rice seems to be just dipping his shoes into this supernatural landscape. The dad of one of these teenagers has made things a little harsh for the young couple, as they are now siblings but not by blood in any way. Caleb has just returned home in a surprise feat and Amber doesn’t know what to do with her feelings for him. In addition, Amber’s husband has just being plowing the help. Though Caleb adores Amber, he didn’t want to do anything about it because he feels guilty about something he did to her father in the past. Now the couple is in their mid 20s so they have a second chance.

The couple doesn’t seem to realize that they are in a crossroads these days. They yearn for each other but aren’t sure about giving in so they can leave the past behind once and for all. You’ll enjoy gossip-loving characters as they talk about crazy things at all times. The plot is about a second-chance love and you’ll enjoy evey minute of it. In fact, Mr. Rice can be considered the new voice in the important contemporary romance these days. This storyline is about a tragedy of love that is hurting two lovely and innocent teenagers. They just want to love each other but tragedy’s claws want them to be unhappy at all times, which is a shame.

Sensuous Setting

Rice loves writing about sensuous settings, gays, family history and sensitive teenagers. If you mix those things with wit, you’ll be able to create an outstanding plot right away, which is something Mr.Rice did in A Density of Souls. But you’ll not find a word about vampires or something like that in Anne Rice’s son’s works in any way. The family resemblance will only be found in the overripe magnolias, gays and the settings. The story is full of murder, madness, and suicide celebrating the youthful friendly of four people. Before this foursome enters a prestigious prep school, the friendship is over by a sexual issue.

In this awesome novel, Mr. Rice is truly depicting his own story rather than someone else’s. In addition, you’ll see all the passions that consume a juvenile mind such as envy, rage, and others as well as the normal life of high school students from football games to late-night escapades. You’ll not find any kind of character illumination here in any way, so some spiritual moments are missing in this novel. The characters of the novel are experiencing an identity crisis as this situation is normal in people who are coming of age, and all this suffering is also quite normal.
