Ciara Knight is a bestselling author that writes coming of age stories aimed towards lovers of teen dramas.

+Biography

Ciara Knight has been telling stories for so long as she can remember. By the time she started school, Ciara was a constant source of worry to her family and teachers because she simply spent too much time in her imagination.

It isn’t a charge that she will deny. Many a class was spent with Ciara watching trails of ants running across the window, all too lost in the adventures she imagined they were about to undertake to pay much attention to her teacher.

It was little wonder that sixth grade found Ciara Knight being moved from her regular classroom to a program designed to aid those children that some might consider slow. Ciara did not think that she was stupid; though convincing her friends of this fact was no easy feat.

Not that it mattered much because, after that, Ciara fought hard to keep her imagination in check. She had come to believe that her fantasies were a detriment to her future and that they had to be fought with every fiber of her being.

Life after high school was complicated because Ciara Knight didn’t really know what to do next. Junior college looked like it might offer some answers, though Ciara admits that she only took that route because nothing else piqued her interest at that time.

Fortunately for Ciara, an opportunity came her way that availed her a chance to avoid the mundane path that so many of Ciara’s peers were taking. Ciara heard about dance auditions that were being held at Walt Disney World and she decided to give them a shot.

Ciara didn’t fancy herself a particularly talented dancer; however, she wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity to engage with a world that would not only permit but also nurture her imagination, which she had worked so hard to extinguish over the years.

And through a series of unexpected events, the author actually made it to the final round and slipped in through the door to a bright future through the skin of her teeth. The next year and a half were nothing short of a dream as Ciara Knight begun to shape her future.

But then a foot injury ended things for her. Ciara was forced to return home and enroll in college. Once again, her imagination had to be allowed to die so that she could make something of herself in college.

For the next several years, Ciara continued to work and study, diligently keeping the voices in her head in check and refusing to give in to the call to retreat to her mind.

It wasn’t until Ciara Knight started a family that hope for her future begun to blossom. Even though the author had penned a few short stories for a couple of magazines, she had never attempted to seriously indulge in her passion.

But then her children came into the world and Ciara was forced to stay at home to take care of them. The times were difficult. Being a stay-at-home mom meant that Ciara not only had more time on her hands than she knew what to do with but that she couldn’t socialize as much as she wanted.

Neither component did much to encourage the author to put her imagination to good use. Luckily for Ciara, her husband wasn’t willing to let her waste such an opportunity to pursue her passions. He gave her the kick in the butt she needed to get going, and soon, Ciara Knight was, once again, lost in her own world, crafting new worlds and throwing new stories onto paper.

By the time she had finished her first novel, Ciara knew that writing was her true calling; it didn’t matter that she hadn’t yet been published. Ciara knew what she would do for the rest of her life. She quickly went on the hunt for an agent and began to churn out crazy stories about teens struggling with life.

+Winter in Sweetwater County

Lisa Morgan and Eric Gaylord found each other at the tipping points of their lives. Lisa was pregnant but her rich fiancé wanted nothing to do with the baby; in fact, he wouldn’t rest until she had ended the pregnancy, and Lisa had no choice but to flee to a small town where she could make a new home for her baby.

Eric came home in order to find some peace after an unexpectedly tragic loss. He didn’t think much of her mother’s new business partner, an unknown woman, until Eric realized that she might hold the key to healing his wounded heart.

This Ciara Knight novel is perfect for readers who have never been exposed to her because her writing is so direct. The story she tells is pretty straightforward, and because Ciara uses basic sentence structures, her writing really flows, allowing readers to better visualize her town and the people who inhabit it.

Lisa, Ciara’s heroine, is a hardworking woman that only wants to carve out a place for her child in the world. Eric, the hero, is struggling with guilt. The only way he can be with Lisa is if he makes the decision to finally move forward. But that will only happen once he faces the nightmares of his past.

+In All My Wishes

Anna Baker and Professor Liam Harrow were lost to one another when Anna was fifteen. Anna was forced to not only leave her childhood home but her true love. Liam always thought that Anna would come back.

But she never did, and he learned to harden his heart. It takes the potential demolition of Historic Hall to force old memories to resurface, bringing unexpected secrets to light.

This is what one might refer to as a good-hearted romance novel. There are no shocking plot twists or breathtaking reveals. Rather, Ciara Knight endeavors to tell a compelling story about a small town and the heartwarming trials of two desperate people.

The book introduces and plays with a major mystery that it doesn’t really provide answers to once all is said and done.
