Dannika Dark, a popular Supernatural Romance Author, was born on a military base in the United States and, like many other military kids in history, spent much of her childhood traveling abroad with her family. She developed an interest in writing, particularly songs and poetry, at an early age. As she grew, she gravitated towards a job that involved Technical writing- in this case, procedural training documentation. In her spare time, she wrote books for fun long before she ever decided to pursue a career in publishing- arguably the best way to hone the skill.

In addition to writing about supernatural worlds, Dannika is passionate about Graphic Design and enjoys making her own book covers and series artworks. Check out her website to see some of her spectacular designs. When she’s not working (which is most of the time,) she likes indie music, movies, chocolate, partying with Strawberry Daiquiris, and reading.

She has been known to say, “For me, writing is all about blending genres to break out of the confines of predictability, but it’s what I love to do.”

She is the author of wildly popular (but also just for grownups) book, “Seven Years,” in which a young woman, Lexi Knight, tragically lost her brother in an accident 7 years ago. On the 7th year anniversary, her brother’s ex-best friend shows up unexpectedly. She hasn’t seen him since her brothers funeral, and he is certainly no longer the boy Lexi knew back then. He’s now a dangerous looking man with Tattoos, and he seems to brim with dark secrets. He once broke her trust and abandoned not only her, but her whole family, but secrets revealed make it nearly impossible to stay angry with him for his betrayal.

Austin Cole, Her brothers Ex-best friend, has returned to the city of his birth, just in time. He’s had a hard time for the last 7 years, and shadows are creeping up not only on him, but seek to destroy Lexi’s family. It’s high time they learned the truth, but there’s always a twist. Now he must stay, and protect her family when certain family members end up in mortal danger. Could Austin and Lexi ever salvage a relationship from the ruins of their twisted past?

She’s also the author of the USA bestselling book, Sterling. The book rocketed to quick popularity, and claims the coveted five star rating. In this book, Zoe Merrick has lived an ordinary life for year, until one dark night she is brutally attacked. She narrowly escapes death, and is rescued by Adam Razor, an ex-soldier who offers not only friendship, but a safe place to stay. But something is really different here- She is unable to control and unexplainable energy that begins to course through her body.

Justus De Gradi may not have saved her life, and he is the one who may be able to teach her control. She meets him by complete chance. He’s handsome, arrogant, and maybe not even human. He tells her she’s a mage, or in other words, an immortal made of light, not magic like others. Zoe must make a choice- does she stay with the man who saved her, or devote herself to Justus and learn more about being a mage. Justus swore an oath to protect her, but can he guard her from the man she feels has the right to claim the rest of her life?

In this story, Zoe learns the value of freedom and loyalty.

In the second book, “Twist,” Silver is developing her own gifts as a mage and learning to live under the new laws involved with her power. She has been forced to give up her old life and to live in secret amongst all the humans. Her life finally seems to be normal… but then, Logan Cross walks into it. Their coincidental meeting leads her closer to discovering the identity of a nameless mage from her past who assaulted her, stealing her light and discovering the unique power only she possesses. The knowledge itself poses a terrifying threat; fueling the search to find him….. before he can find her. With her life at stake, an unexpected romance buds.

She is also the proud author of a five star review book entitled “Closer,” wherein the character of Kane never believed in stuff like Karma or Fate- until the night he was forced to take a life. A secret society lives underground in the human world- a society of immortals. Kane is among their number- a sensor who experiences emotional energies through touching. Despite his good looks and easy going personality, Kane choose to live a solitary life. To top it all off, Kane is unfortunately, Naturally Hypersensitive.

Dannika Dark, though a busy and productive writer, often takes time to answer the questions of her beloved readers. In one such question, a fan asked if she had always known what direction she would take the prince’s character or if she just let the writing carry her that way?

In perfect form to such a revealing question, Dark Answered that people are complex, and that she had known people for years who continued to surprise her to this day. She answered that the character is an ancient, and not just a couple of hundred years old. This particular Character has been around since medieval times, has lived through countless wars, periods of peace, techological advancements, social changes, and political parties and there are many things no one living today (other than him) can understand about his life, his experience, his culture, and his family.

She adds that is can be easy to make blanket judgements on people because of something small that they say or how they may behave in a given moment. If you have the opportunity to get to know someone, you learn about how people tick. She adds that she loves to write complex characters, because it makes them seem more like real people. She compares people to onions- with layers and layers of complexity.
