Dee Davis is an award winning author who is deeply passionate about writing. She has so far done more than twenty books and series in total. Dee Davis has a masters degree in in Public Relations and a BA in Political Science and history. She therefore spent a total of three years on a public speaking circuit, participated in both television and radio commercials, wrote a total of three public announcements that saw her receive an award for them. She also starred in the Seven year itch and also served as the director of two different associations. All these we’re within a period of ten years during her ten year career tenure in public relations.

She has written various series including Time After Time Series, Last Chance Series, Liar’s Game Series, The Rising Storm Series, Devil May Care Series, A-Tac Series, The Matchmaker Chronicles among a few others. Dee Davis is seen to lean more on the romance suspense genre, women’s fiction and time travel when it comes to writing more than all the other possibilities. This is probably due to the fact that she really loves a happy ending because she is often romantic at heart. She has also written a number of books relating her characters to her personal life. A good example of this is Chloe in just breathe and her falling off the train. She first published the first book Everything In its Time in the year 2000 which was highly and positively accepted by the public. She has since then won various awards including Golden Leaf, Texas Gold, Prism awards as well as the Bookseller’s best award. This stunning author has also been nominated quite a number of times for the National Reader’s Choice Award, the Two RT Reviewers as well as the Holt Choice Awards.

Her ability and passion for romance renders her book readable and understandable as the ideas flow in line with the emotions. Her ability to create an unpredictable environment makes the reader get the urge to read more and find out what is likely to unfold. You would therefore find yourself getting addicted to her books because of the sweet terminologies she uses which are quite easy to grasp by anyone regardless of the background.

The first book she wrote and went viral after publishing was from the Time After Time Series. This manuscript portrays a woman who decided to go out in search of the man of his dreams, not knowing she is actually the hunted by the min of her dreams. All this begun one night when Katherine Claire had a passionate night with a complete stranger in a certain castle hotel. She has since then never forgotten this man to the extend that she sees him in her dreams. This continues for a while therefore prompting her to go back to Duncreag in search of the “fantasy man” as his brother called him. Iain heads back home after receiving the news about the death of his father. Upon arrival he becomes suspicious as to what really caused the death of his father. Both Iain and Claire arrive at Duncreag in almost the same time in search of each other. What follows is that inspite of the existence of a great difference between them, their love is so strong that it supersedes all the boundaries set between the two. Their love would however be tested until and only after Jeff’s discovery of events from the past would deliberate the two.

This book relies upon the fact that love could make one go through or do quite a number of things that would not be expected of them. For instance, Claire gathers the courage and decides to go back to Duncreag in search of a man he barely knows just because she couldn’t forget him because of love. The book gives you the need to continue reading the next volume after the next as you are eager to find out what actually led to the next step. Dee Davis has therefore not disappointed her readers as she has written this Time Series without any long breaks as many other authors. Although she admits to the fact that writing this first book was not an easy experience, she was glad that the book came up at the right time.

Quite different from her first Time After Time Series is the Last Chance Series which is so rounded by more of an investigative environment. Being the best of the best, Mardison Hamper is a criminal profiler for the FBI. And she therefore best understands the most dangerous minds. She possesses all the qualities of a highly ranked agent therefore she is tenacious and tough. On the other hand is Gabriel Roarke, a crack operative for the Criminal Intelligence Agency. He is Mardison’s new partner who like to do each and everything in his own way. This therefore does not kick-start this partnership on a positive note. The two are however forced to work jointly because of the vows they made for their country therefore jointly head a murder investigating task force in high places. This most definitely sparks certain feelings between the two.

As time goes by in this complicated world with many secrets, their passion for each other soon ignites. How long this would last is however put to test after a high end killer challenges Mardison to follow the trail up to the end. Gabriel is also however determined to put his life on the line for her. This therefore situates their next move at a matter of life and death. The Endgame of the Last Chance Series was written alongside the best selling author Marian Stewart. The book illustrates how far Gabriel is willing to go in order to sustain the fire that exists between them. In this case being careless enough to keep Mardison alive regardless of the fact that he could lose his own life in the process.

Davis makes you get the need to read more because each and every situation is not predictable in any way.
