The story depicted in the book features the chief protagonist named Thomas Crocker, who undergoes another action packed and adventurous mission along with his team of U.S. Navy SEALs. At the start of the opening scene, it is shown that a nuclear weapon disappears and ends up in the hands of the deadly terrorists. In order to prevent the terrorists from using the nuclear device to cause destruction as well as recover the device, the U.S. Navy appoints its bravest anti-terrorism unit, the Navy SEALs. Thomas Crocker once again leads his SEAL Team to fight against the terrorist and help save the world once again from terrorist threats. Author Don has once again given an actual insight as well as the heart pounding action in the book. With the detailed description about the mode of operation of the SEALs, the readers are taken inside the bravest combat unit on earth. But this time things become personal as the Iranian terrorist whom Thomas and his squad are trying to catch is the same person who abducted his wife a few months ago. This terrorist is called the Falcon, who is involved in stealing nuclear material from Libya as well as making plans to attack America. Thomas’ hunt for the Falcon takes him and his squad to Caracas from Bangkok. In the meantime, Crocker’s father, who was estranged with him reappears again and forces him to think about his life outside of the SEAL operations. But, Thomas knows that it is easier said than done as his job requires him to be ready for duty calls 365 days a year. Once again author Don has given a description of Navy SEAL operation in a relentless action packed style. The highlight of this novel is the survival techniques used by Thomas and his men under captivity. In the end, the SEALs take the fight against terrorism to the doorstep of the Falcon in Iran and emerge victorious once again. Author Don again received wide appreciations for his dedicated efforts in describing the real life situations in the novel. The motivation and encouragement that he gained from the success of the earlier books of the series helped him to write down a few more books in the series before going on to write some other novels in his career.
