About the series

Evan Michael Tanner, usually known as Tanner, is a character showcased in a compilation of crime fictional novels written by author Lawrence Block. Tanner fought against his enemies in the Korean War and was an ideal soldier till his sleeping quarters was damaged by shrapnel, making him an insomniac.
