Kari Lynn Dell is a famous author from America who is known for writing contemporary and romance novels. She is particularly well known for writing the highly successful Texas Rodeo book series, featuring cowboys, ranches, and horses. Author Dell is a native resident of the northern central Montana. Her family owned ranches for many years and she is a 3rd generation cowgirl herself. Dell was born in Cut Banks, Montana, The United States and was brought up on a ranch to don a cowgirl hat and costume. She is also a well trained rodeo competitor and horse trainer. Author Dell is the winner of the Breakaway Roping Championship organized by the Association of Senior Pro Rodeo in Canada in 2013. The first rodeo was attended by her when she was just 2 weeks old. Since then, she has existed in the horse-induced state of poverty. Currently, author Dell lives on her family ranch located on Blackfeet Reservation. She loiters in and around the bunkhouse of her parents along with her loving husband, son, and a Cowdog named Max. The front step of her house has a tipi. Dell is able to see a beautiful view of the Glacier National Park by sitting on her desk while writing her books. She is also to see Canada within a short distance from her house as it is located near the boundary of the two nations. The beautiful location helps author Dell to have a feeling of freshness and a peaceful mind to write her stories. She says that this is one of the reasons why she is able to come up with exciting and interesting novels one after the other quite often. Author Dell receives inspiration from the popular works of the prominent personalities like Louis L’Amour, Karen Templeton, Jennifer Cruise, and Virginia Kantra. She reads the popular books of these authors every now and then, and learns the different aspects of writing an interesting romance story.

Author Dell has developed a website of her own. She maintains it by giving out information regarding the future publications and the latest happenings in her writing career. Dell also gives out first hand information to her fans about a typical life on ranches on the Rockies’ east slope. She even explains the stories of wonder and woe that come with staying on the north frontier. Dell expects someone to film these stuffs as they will prove beneficial in great ways. Occasionally, Dell and her family members get involved in shooting some of the features of her hometown. Author Dell became a published author in 2015 with the release of her debut book, The Long Ride Home. In addition to being a writer, Dell also writes columns about humor elements in several daily regional newspapers. Dell also has a nationwide agricultural publication to her name. After the success of her Texas Rodeo books in the print form, author Dell is about to release them in the audio format. In fact, the first three books of the series have already been put up for pre order. Author Dell hopes that the audio versions will also be equally successful as the printed versions. The success of her romance books has boosted her confidence a lot and she prays to god that more interesting stories keep coming in her mind so that she could successfully write and publish them and become a much more successful author of the romance genre.

The Texas Rodeo series written by Kari Lynn Dell is comprised of a total of 4 books, which were released between the years 2015 and 2017. Each book of this series features cowboys and cowgirls in the lead roles. Author Dell has depicted the love interests of the cowboys and the difficulties that they face in coming together as lovers. Also, the description about their past personal lives is also shared by the author. Each book consists of a different pair of chief characters. The first book of the romance series is entitled ‘Reckless in Texas’. It was released by the Sourcebooks Casablanca publishers in the year 2016. The primary characters of the book include Violet Jacobs and Joe Cassidy. At the start of the story of the book, Violet Jacobs is introduced as a fearless girl. This is what the cowboys around her also think, with whom she gets involved in relationships. Outside of the ranch, Violet has a lot of things to worry about. Some of them include her messy love life, a young son, and the struggling rodeo of her family. When Violet Jacobs begins to take care of the business, she hires a hot bullfighter and expects that a ruckus will take place. Violet never expected that Joe Cassidy will prove a tough nut to crack for her. The cocky, rough, tumble, and charming Joe is everything of a superstar. It seems quite clear that he is way out of the league of Violet Jacobs. Joe Cassidy arrives in Texas for escaping the hardships of his previous life. However, Joe never planned to stick around or call the dusty and dry backwater home. After seeing Violet, he realizes that she is all that was missing in his life. The more Joe is pulled into the beautiful mess of Violet’s family, the more he senses that the fierce cowgirl may offer that single thing that he was never able to find by himself.

The next installment written by Dell in this series is called ‘Tangled in Texas’. This book was published in 2017 by Sourcebooks publication. The primary characters of this book’s story include Delon Sanchez and Tori Patterson. At the beginning of the book’s story, it is depicted that Delon Sanchez’s successful rodeo career was destroyed in just 32 seconds in his last competition. However, his life did not take more than one second to change. At one instant, Delon was the best rider throughout the panhandle, and in the next he was left as nothing. The injury he sustained in the competition shattered his knee in a bad way. Due to this, his future landed in a jeopardy. Delon loses all hopes of returning back to the ring and begins to put together whatever he is left with. He wonders what trick has his fate played him to put him in the path of his former lover, Tori Patterson. She has returned home after the death of her husband. The only thing she intends to do in her hometown is to escape from the eyes of the public. But, luck plays a different game and she finds Delon as one of her patients of physical therapy. On seeing that Delon is in desperate need of her help, Tori decides to forget her past with him and starts therapy. However, seeing Delon again after so many years makes Tori realize that she took the wrong decision of leaving him and marrying someone else. On one hand, she sees this opportunity to right all the wrongs she did in the past, and on the other hand, she thinks of running away as fast as she can in order to avoid getting involved with him again.

I just finished Tougher in Texas and I’m am searching for your other books in the series. Totally enjoyed the book and the knowledge behind it. My horse Beau and I spend a lot of time trail riding and working in the arena. Unfortunately since COVID it is harder to find shows to attend, but we still love doing it even if there are no judges around!
