The characters in all her book seem to be a perfect match for each other. Author Meader has written several romance book series, most of which are in the form of trilogies. The latest book series that she is written is called Hot in Chicago. This series features foster siblings, who work as firefighters. They have tattoos all over their bodies and search for their partners desperately. Author Meader originally hails from Ireland. She has been an ardent fan of romance stories right from her childhood days. Author Meader says that she grew up reading the novels of Jilly Cooper and Maeve Binchy. Just to have some variety, she used to pick up one or two harlequins in between, but her interest was mostly in romance books. Meader becomes very excited when she is given the tales about oversexed equestrians, brooding owners of mills, and the males who can rock a fire hose or an apron. Currently, author Meader resides in Chicago along with her family and works throughout the day time to meet the deadlines of her contemporary novels. One of the popular series written by her is called The Chicago Rebels. This exciting book series features the lead characters as 3 estranged sisters, who inherit the failing franchise of ice hockey from their father. The series also features some sizzling chefs, who fall in love with the members of the DeLucas family. The recent concluded trilogy series of author Meader describes the Dempsey family. This male members of this family are hardcore firefighters. The Dempseys meet the blazing women, who tame them in their own daredevil ways. Even the books of author Meader are available in the form of different series, each one of them can even be described as standalone romances. The marriage of author Meader was a grand affair. It took place in a 10th century castle, located in the hills near Florence, Italy. Among the things that author Meader hates are ketchup, pretzels, and peanut butter. Because of these dislikes, her husband calls her an un-American woman. As far as her academic performance is concerned, she has earned bachelor degrees in medieval history, library science, and law. However, she feels that all of them mostly for her as she did not go for a job in any of the fields. Author Meader attempted to write her first fiction book when she was well into her thirties. With this, she likes to say that it is never too late to try and achieve one’s dream. Author Meader holds the citizenship of both America and Ireland. Being an Irish by birth, Meader’s husband often likes to play pranks on her. Throughout the course of her writing career, Meader has won several literary awards, including one each from the Washington Post, Publisher’s Weekly, and RT Reviewer’s Choice. Author Meader has given public appearances on two occasions, first time during the Giant Book Fair Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, and the second time during a literary signing organized by the RWA in Orlando, Florida. The first book in this series is entitled ‘Flirting With Fire’. It was released in 2015 by the Pocket Books and features the main characters as Luke Almeida, Alexandra Dempsey, Gage Simpson, Brady Smith, Kinsey Taylor, Eli Cooper, etc. At the start of the novel, Kinsey Taylor is introduced as a PR guru, who likes to define herself by her work and not by her gender. Kinsey went through a bitter experience when she moved to Chicago from San Francisco to join her fiancee. Kinsey’s finance thought that she was not serious enough about supporting him in the high powered career and eventually dumped her to be with a more supportive nurse. Now, she is determined to keep her focus on her work as the assistant press secretary of the dynamic mayor of Chicago. Kinsey Taylor thinks that she does not have time to go through the inferior feeling. She keeps herself strong and motivated, and doesn’t show any interest in indulging in another relationship. But, when she comes across Luke Almeida, everything begins to change. Kinsey finds him very sexy. Luke is an important member of the foster siblings from the Dempsey family. This family has committed itself in the service of humanity. When Luke indulges in a bar fight with the police department of Chicago, Kinsey arrives at his house on the mayor’s orders and informs about the charges laid on him. But, Luke considers himself as the laws in the area and is in no mood to let her form the rules.

The next installment of the series is called ‘Playing With Fire’. Released in the year 2015, this book features the several characters from the previous book. Author Meador has set the story in Chicago, Illinois. At the beginning of the book’s story, Alexandra Dempsey is depicted as the only female in the firefighting team of the Dempseys. She faces a hard time from most people around her. Her male co-workers think that she is incapable of doing the job, while their girlfriends and wives think of her as a threat. Alexandra’s brothers seem overprotective of her, which she does not seem to like. Alexandra goes on to save the life of the town’s mayor, Eli Cooper, single-handedly, and with this she gets the respect that she had always wanted. Eli Cooper sees this as an opportunity to revive his diminishing chances of becoming mayor once again. He asks Alexandra to join him in his campaign. Soon, the two begin to feel the sizzling attraction towards one another. But, Alexandra Dempsey knows that Eli Cooper is her boss and there are certain rules which must be followed at all costs.
