Lenora’s first Love Inspired book, “The Wedding Quilt” was the book that gained her much deserved attention. The book was given excellent reviews by the Romantic Times and said to have, “Heart stealing and a tragic secret that made the book worth every reader’s time”. The book centers around Rosemary Brinson, who was about to get married and had a hand made quilt which had been stored with care just for her wedding day. The wedding was then called off and Rosemary vowed to never get married again after she was left with a broken heart. Later on, a man named Kirk Lawrence arrived who was hired to renovate the historic town church. He was a rugged steeplejack who did his best to avoid serious relationships but when he met Rosemary, her tender smiled touched his very soul. He started becoming very curious about the wedding quilt which Rosemary was treasuring and also wondered why no man had taken her for a wife. Kirk’s goal was to restore the old church to its former glory by summer’s end, but then his greatest task became winning Rosemary’s heart and rescuing her lost dreams. Would he be able to achieve the latter? An answer you will only find after reading this amazing love inspired book.
Her second book was also Love Inspired and titled, “Logan’s Child”. It won a Romantic Times Reviewer’s Choice Award as ‘Best Love Inspired Book in 1998 and was quoted to have, “Heart stealing characters and a tragic secret that made it worth every reader’s time”. In the book, we are introduced to debutante Trixie Dunway who was known to be the darling of Dallas, the belle of the ball. Trixie lived in what seemed to be a golden free of care world. However, like grains of sand, painful secrets began to wash away her soul. During her younger years, she had an infatuation with a rebel known as Logan Maxwell which tore her apart. She was forced to leave her beloved Logan and their precious baby forever. Years later, Logan returned abruptly looking rugged standing next to her with a child at his side. Is this re-union a fantasy or a miracle? Did God give her a second chance? You will find more answers after reading this love inspired story.
Another famous book she wrote that made it into the New York Times Bestseller list was “Code of Honor”. The book is a romance-suspense based novel that was released in April 2009. It centers on Brice Whelan, an agent of CHAIM, whose mission was to get in, save the girl, then get out. But then later on, saving the missionary nurse Selena Carter, proved to be more difficult than he expected. Selena had a run-in with a drug cartel that ended up putting people in her care in danger. The danger still continues even as Brice manages to bring her back home as the cartel’s counterfeit drugs make their way into Georgia and Selina decides to not run away. Brice’s mission still remains the same and he intends to keep her safe and this meant staying by her side all the time whether she likes it or not.
