Madeline Hunter is one of the popular authors and national bestsellers of America, who has written a number of critically acclaimed novel series’ in her career. She likes to write her novels based on the historical romance genre. Madeline lives in Pennsylvania, along with her husband and a couple of sons. Many of the books written by her have gone on to win the prestigious RITA awards after their instant successes. They have also been nominated for the award for a total of seven times. Madeline also has three starred reviews of her successful novels in the Publisher’s Weekly. Other than being a popular novelist, she also holds a PhD in art history and spends some of her time teaching the same at a university in East Coast. Author Madeline Hunter began her writing career in the year 2000 by writing and publishing her first novel in the Medieval Historical series. She got a boost early on in her career when she won the Waldenbooks Best Selling award as the Best Debut Author of the year in 2000. In the same year, she got a rare starred review from the Publisher’s Weekly for the second novel of the series. This was repeated again in the year 2003 for one of her other novels.

The Romance Writer’s of America association has awarded Madeline with the prestigious RITA Award for two times in her career, first in the category of long historical, in the year 2003 and then in the historical category in the year 2008. Author Madeline has also achieved the feat of having gotten 15 of her novels featured on the USA Today bestseller list. She has also been able to appear on the New York Times bestseller list and the Paperback Fiction best seller list of Waldenbooks. Also, around fifteen of her novels have received four and a half star reviews from the Romantic Times. Apart from being busy with writing the plots of her historical romance novels, Madeline likes to be involved in writers’ events and conferences. She likes to speak on the topics of craft and industry, and teach at the college level. The writing career of Madeline has expanded to a total of 24 historical romance novels and a novella. Most of the books written by her have translated into as many as 12 foreign languages and have gone on to sell over 6 million printed copies altogether.

‘The Seducers’ novel series written by author Madeline Hunter consists of a total of 7 books published between the years 2003 and 2006. All the novels of the series are based on the historical romance genre and seen great success over the years. The first novel of the series was published in the year 2003 by the Bantam publishing house. It was titled ‘The seducer’ and featured the main characters in the form of Diane Albret and Daniel St. John. The novel seemed to have captivated the readers with its unforgettable romance along with suspense, passion, seduction, love, and mystery. The plot of the novel depicts a dazzling tale of a sensual and powerful man named Daniel St. John, who is described by the author as a headstrong, young, and innocent person. Even the female character Diane Albert is depicted in a very beautiful way. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, Daniel St. John is introduced as a charismatic and a darkly handsome gentleman. He is shown rescuing Diane Albret on one occasion, due to which she began seeing him as more than just a savior and guardian. Many years came and went, in which they did not meet or see each other.

Finally, when Daine Albret sees Daniel St. John, he appears to her as totally different from what she had thought of him when she first laid her eyes on him during their first meeting. She finds that Daniel has turned into the most dangerous and irresistible man anyone can imagine of. Even Daine has undergone a lot of changes from being a tragically orphaned and bewildered schoolgirl into a determined and beautiful young woman with an alluring beauty and charm. After leaving back her cloistered school life, Diane has been brought back into the life of Daniel. She comes to his home with several dreams of her own in the middle of some hints and rumors of scandals. The second novel of ‘The Seducers’ series written by author Madeline HUnter was published under the title ‘The Saint’. It was published by the Bantam publishing house in the year 2003 and featured the main characters in the form of Vergil Duclairc and Bianca Kenwood. The plot of the novel describes the tale of a young and a mysterious aristocrat along with a high-spirited beauty. It also gives an account of their love affair that begins with a simple temptation and leads all the way to an exquisite and dangerous seduction. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, Vergil Duclairc is introduced as a man very well capable of making things turn his way. He gets appointed as the new guardian of Miss Bianca Kenwood and seems determined to find her and get her back in order to live happily with his family. Later, he comes to know that his new ward, Bianca was scandalously costumed and was employed as a singer in theatres. She seemed to have no intention of giving up the independence, but was compelled to do so because of the brooding and handsome viscount who believed that he owned her inheritance as well as her. As Bianca prepares herself to be taken back to her country estate, she finds out that Vergil is a man if sensuality and secrets. She knows that she is not immune to the inscrutable charm of Vergil, and neither is he to Bianca’s. Suddenly, the two get thrust into a dangerous world of intrigue in a moment that changed everything. They find themselves to be bound by enemies from all sides and think of the passion between them as the only way that can save them.
