She has not even unpacked her suitcase and is required to get involved in the investigation of the dead body. Unwantedly, Fortune is thrust into the murder mystery of the bayou. She decides to team up with a couple of old ladies of the town, who seemed to be sweet and had the looks that belied their hold on the small town.
