Norah Wilson is one of the USA Today bestselling authors from Canada, who is famous for her novels based on the romance, paranormal romance, and romantic suspense genres. In addition to that, she has also written several successful novels based on the young adult and mystery 7 thriller genres. Norah was born in Stanley, NB, Canada, but as of today, she lives happily in Fredericton, New Brunswick along with her husband and a couple of children. Her happy family also comprises of a couple of dogs named Neva and Ruby, as well a two cats named Milo and Ruckus. The successful writing career of author Norah has helped her to become a finalist in the Golden Heart contest organized by the RWA, for a total of 3 times. In the year 2003, she was able to win the writing contest organized by the Dorchester Publishing, called as the New Voice in Romance. Norah often collaborates with her writing partner named Heather Doherty for writing her young adult and mystery novels. Most of her mystery novels are of the cozy type rather than the thriller type.

The most famous cozy mystery novel series written by author Norah is titled as the Dix Dodd Mystery series. The main reason for her success as a writer, according to her, is the fact that she was too precocious as a reader. She started her reading hobby in her school going days and since then, she has never stopped reading. When she was young, she liked to read all the action and adventure novels. After that, she began following Alastair MacLean and read each and every adventure novel that she wrote. But, once Norah started reading romance novels, she got hooked to them. This was the reason why she was very much thrilled when romance were branched in romantic adventure and suspense genres. Norah realized that she should also try and write her own novels for the first time when she was in her thirties. However, she says that her first enthusiastic attempt was not very promising and therefore, it did not see the light of the day. Nevertheless, that novel served as the beginning of her decade long career in the writing world. In the year 2001, she was still an unpublished writer when she participated in the Golden heart contest, in which she was one of the finalists with her romantic suspense novel.

Norah repeated this in the next two years also, after which, she won the writing contest by the Dorchester Publishing in the year 2003. The novel with which she entered into the contest, Lauren’s Eyes was published by the organizers in the year 2004. Currently, author Norah Wilson continues to write her romantic suspense, contemporary romance, and the paranormal romance novels. Also, with author Heather Doherty, she is working on numerous projects based on the young adult and cozy mystery genres. Heather and Wilson have written together the famous Dix Dodd Mystery series under the pen name N.L. Wilson. They have also written several young adult paranormal novels together. One thing that author Norah feels very proud of is using her USA Today bestselling author status before her name. Norah also feels that the revolutionizing of the reading habits of the readers because of Kindle and ebooks, has helped her to publish all her romantic suspense novels which she did not feel like being suitable for the traditional publishers.

One of the successful novel series written by author Norah Wilson is titled as the Serve and Protect series, which consists of a total of 3 novels and a novella. All the books were published in the year 2010. The first novel of the series was released under the title ‘Guarding Suzannah’. This novel was published as a Kindle edition in the year 2010. The plot of this novel revolves around the happenings in the lives of the main characters named Suzannah Phelps and John Quigley. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, Suzannah Phelps is depicted as working as a Criminal defense attorney. The Fredericton police Department considers her as a bane for itself and is referred to as She-Rex mainly because of her common habit of shredding police officers in the witness box. Suzannah seems to be getting stalked by someone, but feels reluctant to report it to the city police as she feels that they are also involved in stalking her. She even believes that the cops are the real perpetrators of her low level of harassment. Detective John Quigley is shown has having a soft corner for Suzannah in his heart for a very long time. After learning about her harassment, Quigley finds it to be the perfect opportunity of getting a chance to interact with her. Previously, they had struck off sparks on a number of occasions during the courtroom trials. Now, he seems to be determined to find out whether the chemistry between them also lies outside their work or not. However, as he the stalker begins to play a more deadly game, Quigley understands that it is not the cops who are harassing her.

Despite knowing that it is a very deadly game, he seems very much determined to protect Suzannah. But, he is required to display himself as her boyfriend, if he intends to save her. In doing so, he will be required to get closer to her, causing the lines between reality and pretense blur. The second novel of the Serve and Protect series written by author Norah Wilson was published under the title ‘Saving Grace’. This novel was also released as a Kindle edition in the year 2010. The plot of this novel revolves around the happenings in the lives of the primary characters named Grace Morgan and Detective Ray Morgan or Ray, as he id often referred as. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, Grace Morgan is introduced as a fledgling reporter, wrecking her car in an accident and waking up in the hospital under the influence of amnesia. She does not seem to have any idea as to why she was trying to leave her husband, whom she used to love very much. Her husband, Detective Razor Morgan informs her that she was seeing another man and that s why she was leaving him. However, she thinks that it cannot be the way Ray is telling her. Grace seems pretty much determined to remember everything in order to find out the truth, even if she has to give away her life. Just as she seems to have found a solution to her problems, bullets begin to get fired at Grace Morgan. As a result, Ray Morgan is forced to take his faithless wife on the lam and in the meantime, try an figure out who is the one trying to bring the differences between them as well as kill them.
