Priscilla Masters was born on January 1st, 1952; she started her career in 1987 when she published her first writing, Mr. Bateman’s Garden. Then she wrote a children’s book set in biddulph gardens which belongs to a national trust. Further on she wrote Joanna Piercy and has written a lot of medical mysteries up till today. Priscilla Masters is actually a Mystery and Thrillers writer. She lives in Shropshire, England.

She is a celebrated author writing for the crime novels as well. Her books have received a great review from many people who are in the literary world.

She has written some more than twenty novels on crime and has now retired from her job where she worked as respiratory nurse in Royal Shrewbury Hospital.

Priscilla Masters created two main series characters which are Joanna Piercy and Martha Gunn. Piercy is a detective inspector who works in Leek, Staffordshire and is featured by Priscilla Masters in 13 mystery novels. She is a cycling enthusiast, a freewheeling and a graduate of psychology. She uses her instincts and knowledge to solve the cases along with Sergeant who is a Polish body builder. Both of them have a very close working relation which was tested on numerous occasions. Piercy husband is Matthew Levin who is a home office pathologist. He believes himself to have married with a serpent and is still dealing with her. Fuilty Waters are the latest title series which circulates around the disappearance of two French girls who wanted to pay tribute to Rudyard Kipling who was their favorite poet and was in Rudyard Lake.

The second character Martha Gunn is featured in five novels, she is window and has twins and is Shrewsbury coroner. The Devil’s chair is the latest in the series which is set opposing to the dramatic down fall of the long mynd and church sretton.

Priscilla Masters also did used her nursing experience in writing along with her medical family to write the standalone medical mysteries set at various locations, from an erstwhile mining town in south wales “Llanclody” to the Birmingham.

One main character Coroner Martha Gunn in the recalled to death is seen baffled by the revealing of a body which Is not identified and found in the local beauty spot ruins. It is a homeless man whose throat is slashed. The detective Alex Randall along with his team start to face some disturbing question which as if either it was a random attack or was it done on purpose having a vendetta with this poor homeless person For Gunn it is important to first find out who the man is, it is the first essential but there are no clues to it, questions like what was this homeless man doing besides this beauty spot in Shropshire. The need of answers increases desperately with the increase of the mystery and she has to solve the puzzle.

Callum Huges who is a killer and psycho as labeled by the press, most of his family and friends and by his classmates. Roger Gough is one victim and is a very popular boy known for his funny and sporty activities he was brutally murdered by Callum the way his friends and family are saying. Two days later Callum Huges is found dead in his cell after the arrest and it is been accepted that he simply died by killing himself but the coroner Martha Gunn doesn’t accept that and dares to go into deep and find out the real story and the unraveling truth which can be far more distressing and disturbing then anything as said in the papers. She wants to solve the mystery and she is determined to do it and will reveal the truth behind the destroyed loves of these two boys.

In Final Curtain, Piercy is back from her honey moon and the first thing she want to deal is about the nuisance calls from an aged lady who is calling police quite oftenly to report some trivial incidents. The name of the woman is Timony Weeks who used to be a child star in sixties and was once very popular for soap butterfield farm in an isolated farmhouse. She could be just wasting the time of police or may be someone would be really frightening her. Joanna is pretty dubious but when things get creepy and strange she feels as if things are not right, what could be Timony hiding? She starts a research on her past life and finds out many shocking secret. It appears that someone could have sinister intention towards her after all she is all alone in her home.

In smoke Alarm Coroner Martha reunites with Detective Inspector Alex Randall over a deadly fire issue. The firemen were called at the intense blaze they found the bodies of Christie Barton her father in law and her daughter. There were also some evidences which suggested that fire did not started in his own it was rather made deliberately, Inspector Randall asks for Martha help but it came up that the second house fire was missing she was the retired nurse. This made the puzzle to get deepened that where did she had gone and what is the link of the two fires….

In A Velvet Scream on a snowy December morning a young woman was found in the patches nightclub in leek. She was half dead from the cold and also had been raped. Joanna Piercy investigates and learn that kayleigh Harrison made a allegation against her stepfather before she was rapped. There could be relevance to the similar rape case which occurred six months previously.

In Frozen Charlotte a woman arrives at the A and E clutching this child in a blanket. Gunn wasn’t ready to make any discovery on that evening. The baby was actually dead but the worst part was that he was mummified. The postmortem revealed that the baby was to be a new born but was deceased for over five years. Like always coroner holds her judgment until she reaches the bottom of the case.

   I have read the Joanna Piercy seven books in a week,brilliant ,is there a book 8 ? You can’t leave me not knowing whether she has the baby or an abortion
