Randy Singer is an American acclaimed author for mysteries and thrillers. He is also a veteran trial attorney by profession. Randy has penned nine legal thrillers, plus the novel that won him an award. To add to his law practice and writing, Randy also serves as a teaching pastor in Virginia Beach for The Trinity church. It is called his Jekyll and Hyde thing-he is part lawyer, part pastor. He also teaches classes in advocacy and ethics at the Regent Law School. Apart from that he also serves on the school’s Board of Visitors. Randy and his wife Rhonda live in Virginia Beach. They are blessed with children.Rosalyn a graduate from the Law school of South Carolina Law School and Joshua who is a Colorado Wrangler and heading to a Vet school.

Randy graduated from William and Mary school of Law in 1986. He graduated second in his class.He began working his legal career at Willcox andSavage.Then he later headed the firm’s litigation section.

After working at the Willcox and Savage firm for thirteen years, and becoming an executive at a board of national mission and also a cable television network CEO, Randy decided to start his firm. Recently he was voted to be one of the best on the top 100 lawyers in Virginia and to add to that Randy was recently named a finalist for the Harper Lee Prize inaugural alongside other famous writers like John Grisham and Michael Connely for novels that best exemplified the lawyers role in the society.

Randy began his writing career twelve years ago. Combining both ministry and courtroom experience, Randy writes legal thrillers that entertain readers while in the process confronts them with truths from the bible on issues that are controversial.

This book is about a news reporter by name Catherine O’Rourke who has been experiencing disturbing dreams that detail crimes that are happening or have happened after a series of kidnaps and murders happened at Virginia beach.She decides to help in the investigation by sharing her dreams using her confidential source who is also a detective working on the cases but her knowledge of the crimes makes her a target and at the same time a prime suspect thus arrested and charged for murder after the police confirm that their scientific evidence corroborates with her dreams and guilt in the end Catherine also starts to doubt her own innocence and in the end she turns to a high priced specialist in the insanity defense who is also a Las Vegas lawyer called Quinn Newberg.

The problem is that Quin does not believe in the supernatural he only believes in the Vegas style justice. He also believes that the dreams that Catherine is having are a result of a fractured personality disorder and not anything else. But nothing had prepared him for this because to win he has to be a skeptic and he will also need more that his legal maneuvering that is famed he will need a miracle.

This book comes highly recommended if you love drama and thrillers. The split personality syndrome is also something I would love to read more and more. The writer again breaks down the story into very easy parts one can quickly understand and these makes this book the best when it comes to reading every chapter flows into the next seamlessly without confusion and this makes him a good writer. The book is also very engaging, intriguing, amazing and full of suspense until the last page.This is a must read book on your list.

Being a pastor and a practicing attorney by profession,most of Randy,s book are filled with courtroom ideas and also religious undertones that give his stories a different perspective of the characters. The plots twists,surprises, and turns of the stories in his books will not allow you to put the books down once you start reading. And the courtroom drama with an insanity case plea plus a split personality disorder is just refreshing.
