Tracie Peterson was born in the year 1959 and got saved 6 years later. She lived with her parents who instilled great discipline and Christianity in her. She was was always expected to be prepared for church service and is thankful her father brought her up this way. She has always felt ever since that she was called to some form of God’s ministry, and writing justifies that form of ministry. Tracie Peterson enjoys a happy marriage with her husband Jim. together they have three children, Jennifer, Julie and Erik and live in Montana. she owns the Peterson Ink, Inc. along with Jim, daughter Jennifer, and close friend Charity Kauffman. She specializes in fictional novels. her novels are mostly historical with romantic threads in them and are mostly published by Bethany House. she formally used the name Janelle Jamison but later reverted to her real name Tracie Peterson. She enjoys sharing God’s gospel through her fiction writing talent and has been an award winner and best seller of more than 100 books.
Tracie Peterson’s talent first came to light in November 1992 when she published her book a place to Belong. the book was published with the Barbour Publishing’s Heartsong Presents. She wrote with the publisher for the two years that followed. during that time she received the readership’s vote for favorite author of the year for three consecutive years. The talent had finally sprung and no one could deny it.
in 2011 Tracie Peterson was awarded the 2011 Lifetime achievement award by the American Christian Fiction Writer’s. the same organization was founded by her help in hopes of helping new authors find their way to the top a revelation of her ingenuity. She was also awarded the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award for 2007 inspiration Fiction. Tracie Peterson’s books have won many awards for favorite books in many contests, including but not limited to the USA “Best Books 2011” Awards and best Religious Fiction for Embers of Love! Tracie Peterson and Jim also teach in the many writer conferences especially on new and unpublished authors.
Tracie Peterson introduced herself to the literary world when she signed a contract with the Bethany House Publishers in December 1995 where she currently writes exclusively. She has also co-written many books with other christian writers such as Judith Pella, Judith Miller, James Scott Bell, Kimberley Woodhouse and her daughter Jennifer. Tracie Peterson was at one time the manager of Barbour Publishing’s Heartsong Presents book line where she oversaw the production of more than 52 books in a year.

She risks being infected because of her love for her people even if they are poor. interestingly, much more than her health hangs on the balance. mishandling of the family fortunes threatens to leave the family bankrupt. the family has no choice but to sacrifice the Amanda’s future by attempting to forcefully marry her to a man Amanda disdains in her attempt to save the Broadmoor legacy. Tracie Peterson excellently develops the plot of the novel. the characters are well developed, three dimensional with an adequate range of personalities with both foibles and failures ingrained. it illustrates several family dynamics going on among siblings and close family members. will Amanda Broadmoor give in to the marriage. the book is no exception
Tracie Peterson’s Rivers of Gold is yet another masterpiece authored by none other than herself. character development in the book is one of the best- its superb. in this book Miranda Colton is separated from her travel companions and presumed dead. she luckily finds herself in the care of one Teddy Davenport a studious botanist whose roots are in England. She is extremely grateful to the Botanist but wishes to proceed with her journey to the goldmines in the north where her travels companions have gone to. she longs to find her friends but fears that her chances are slimming with each passing day. on the other part Teddy is deeply committed to his research about the unique landscape of the rugged Yukon frontier. He is disturbed by the patience of Miranda. This opens a deep tenderness in his character. Each passing day now brings them even closer together so that Miranda certainly finds herself inwardly struggling with her earlier dreams. When finally a menacing force from her past threatens to destroy all the things she has held dear.
