Tracy L. Higley is one of the well known authors of America who has written several popular novels in her writing career based on the historical fiction and biblical fiction genres. From a very early age, she had started reading books based on the creatures and settings of another world. She was very much impressed by the knights and dragons mentioned in those books. Particularly, the world Narnia developed an unbeatable passion in her heart towards the historical fiction world. Whenever she opened a new novel to read, it would feel her like she was going through the wardrobe once again. This filled her mind and body with a lot of thrill. And with each of the novel that she writes today, she tries herself to open a similar door in her own world and invite the readers to get transported into a captivating world along with her. Tracy started writing her first novel when she was just 8 years old, and since then, she has never stopped writing exciting novels on historical and biblical fiction. Before going on to become a full time writer, Tracy enrolled herself at the Biblical University in Philadelphia.

After that, she joined the Rowan University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in the subject of English Literature. Following this, Tracy spent the next 10 years working for a church ministry, where she wrote drama presentations. All the drama productions that she has written for the church ministry have been attended by nearly 10,000 people. Throughout her life, author Tracy had an interest in mythological and historical studies, which has led her into an extensive research work based on the history of the ancient Greece as well as a few other myth systems like Rome and Egypt. The research work allowed her to shape her desire in order to shine the gospel light into the past cultures. Tracy described that more than 2,000 years ago, the ancient Greek harbor was lowered by the rising Colossus of Rhodes, who had towered above it. It was a wonder for all those who sailed through the Aegan. And in the shadow of the Colossus, the people of ancient Greece lived and struggled together. They loved each other for the purpose and took good care of each other. It appeared that the city was extremely rich with its glittering wealthy and was obsessed with the control of power.

But, God was at work and stayed in the form of hope in the hearts of the people of the city, giving them the hint that he was about to send a Redeemer for them. This was the introductory description of author Tracy’s debut novel series and she was very much thrilled to begin the series with the description of the Colossus. With the first novel of the series, Tracy hopes that she will be able to escape to Rhode along with the readers. In doing so, she will be able to make them feel that they have walked along the harbor situated under the mighty statues themselves. The readers will also be able to feel the blue sea and the white sand under their feet. Tracy also hopes that after reading the novel series, the readers will be able to meet the Redeeming God, who seems to be the sovereign over the entire drama of the human history. In relation to her research work on the historical fiction novels, author Tracy L. Higley has traveled to a number of countries, including Turkey, Jordan, Greece, Italy, Israel, and Egypt. She looks forward to travel to a few more countries as far as her historical fiction novels continue to be written by her. Tracy mainly tries to find a fascinating location for the plots of her books.

The first novel series written by author Tracy Higley is called ‘The Incense Road’, which consists of a total of 3 books published in the year 2015. The first novel of the series was released by the Stonewater Press publishing house in the form of a Kindle edition. It was titled ‘Star of Wonder’ and the plot of this novel describes the tale of an epic quest that takes place across the sands of Arabia. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, the author has described an exotic land situated in the east, where a group of scholars have been studying the night sky for many generations. After a long wait, a star burst onto the exotic land and signals the birth of a new leader of the world. Soon, an ancient document is found which gives a hint about the presence of an artifact which is believed to have immense power. The caravan of the scholars in the exotic land feels tempted to seek the infiltrating power. Later in the plot of the novel, it is shown that the mage, soldier, and the Egyptian princess have a secret that they desperately try to protect. However, if they think of surviving from the dark forces who seem to be battling for the prize, they must develop a sense of trust towards each other in the long journey of their lifetime.

The second novel of the series written by author Tracy L. Higley was published under the title ‘Star of Night’. It was released by the Stonewater Press publishing house as a Kindle edition in the year 2015. Just like the first novel of the series, this novel too describes an epic quest in the sands of Arabia. In the opening sequence of the plot of the novel, a secret sect related to the Persian magicians is depicted as studying the night sky in the exotic lands in the east for many generations. Soon, the stars in the night sky announce the royal birth of the new leader of the world in a strange way. The new world leader is known by the name Misha, who is a first level mage ad seems to be chasing the new world in order to prove himself. But after the resurfacing of an ancient document, an artifact is whispered to have immense power. Everyone finds it difficult to resist the temptation to seize the power of the artifact. Misha does not seem to be alone in her quest and is joined by the king’s general named Reza, who seems to be seeking the power to fulfill his destiny, which otherwise seems very mysterious. Both Reza and Misha set their eyes on the Egyptian princess named Kamillah. She has the intention of doing everything required to gain the possession of the artifact. Kamillah wants the power of the artifact in order to break her bondage with the sorcerer named Zahir. Each of Misha, Reza, and Kamillah are required to trust each other in order to keep the dark forces away and proceed in their quest to find the powerful artifact.
