Anna Schmidt is an American published author.

She says that she has been telling stories for most of her life. She frequently says that she writes because she ‘can’t not write’. Schmidt says that storytelling is in her DNA. She reports that she wrote genre fiction for years with westerns, romances, and inspirationals, using her pen name of Anna Schmidt. Today, she also pursues telling more complex stories using her real life name of Jo Horne.

Anna Schmidt is the author of multiple series. Her historical novel The Winterkeeper was able to get a five-star rating from Reader’s Favorites. The reviews for this story were very positive from the Historical Novel Society and other places!
