The back of her head happens to be largely featured in the movie Mean Girls. She is married and lives in Alberta with her husband and their two children.

Annette has had her articles published in different online magazines such as The Guardian and HelloGiggles.

The Rehearsals is a 2021 novel by Annette Christie.
