Anthea Lawson is an American published author.

The name comes from two names combined, Anthea and Lawson. They make up a creative team of husband and wife. They live in the Pacific Northwest of the United States and are musicians as well as writers. The pair have recorded many different musical CDs, many of which were with their current band Fiddlehead.

The first novel that the pair wrote together was Passionate. It was picked as a finalist for the best Long Historical Romance in the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart competition. The author also uses the pen name Anthea Sharp to write urban fantasy stories for young adults.

The author has been deemed a new star of Historical Romance by Booklist and has won readers over thanks to the combination of spicier love scenes and elegant prose. Her books have also gotten starred reviews in places such as Library Journal.

‘Anthea’ is married and is the wife and husband team that live in the Pacific Northwest. The two have a daughter together and she loves living where she does, where the rainy days fuel her writing as does her high quality coffee. She loves writing but also takes some time out for her hobby, playing the Irish fiddle.
