Aaron Rosenberg is an American published author. He also is known by the name Cris Ramsay.
Born in 1969, he is known for being a novelist and a game designer. He is originally from New York and New Jersey, and came back to New York City in 1996 after being in Kansas and New Orleans for a few stints. He has worked in corporate graphics and book publishing and has taught college level English.
He is an award winning best selling author known for his DuckBob science fiction comedy series, his fantasy series the Relicant Chronicles, the Dread Remora space opera series, and the O.C.L.T. occult thriller series with David Niall Wilson.
Aaron has also penned tie-in novels. These include Collective Hindsight for Star Trek, a PsiPhi winner, the Daemon Gates trilogy for Warhammer, Tides of Darkness, and Beyond the Dark Portal for World of WarCraft, which was Scribe-nominated. He also worked on Hunt and Run for Stargate: Atlantis, as well as Substitution Method and The Road Less Traveled for Eureka.
Aaron has also penned children’s books. These include Pete and Penny’s Pizza Puzzles and The S.T.E.M. Squad, as well as work that he has done for PowerPuff Girls and Transformers Animated. He has also written role playing games, such as Asylum and Spookshow (original games), and Gamemastering Secrets (which won an Origins Award). He has also worked on Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, The Supernatural Roleplaying Game, and The Deryni Roleplaying Game.
His young adult novels include 42: The Jackie Robinson Story, which was a number one bestseller. He also worked on the Scribe-winning Bandslam: The Novel and two iCarly books. In addition to all of this, Rosenberg has also worked on different web comics, short stories, essays, and educational books. He has worked on everything from comedy to drama to speculative fiction and mystery, and always has the intent of telling a good story.
Today, the author resides in New York along with his family.
Yeti Left Home is the first book in the Twin City Cryptids series by Aaron Rosenberg. If you are interested in books that have an element of the supernatural and are a fun, light read, this is a great pick for you.
It’s a yeti in a small town who has big city problems– but can he get through it? Main character Wylie Kang is a Yeti who is peaceful and unassuming. He is a Yeti who has an appreciation for creature comforts that are more human, as he just likes them better.
He is able to live a quiet life where he keeps to himself residing in his self made sanctuary which is placed on the outside of Embarrass, Minnesota. When strange and violent dreams end up disrupting his peace, with a series of odd murders happening in the area, it turns out that a Hunter has come into the township area, looking after Wylie’s trail.
Fleeing from pursuit, Wylie decides to pack up some things and put them into his truck. Then he heads for the Twin Cities, hoping that he will be able to lose himself in this urban jungle. He never expected that he would find a supernatural community there that is positively thriving.
He starts settling in there, thanks to some friends that he makes in the area. Then he finds out that the bloodshed has ended up following him there, as has the Hunter. This is all bad news, but at least Wylie is aware of the danger. Will he be able to pin down a killer before he is caught by a Hunter? Read this book to find out!
