Thatcher is a popular author that many readers have taken a shine to! Having made it to the top best seller list of USA Today, Thatcher is the alias used by Aileen Fish when she wants to change over from writing sweeter romances to romances that are slightly naughtier. She’s always had a passion for sexy romantic stories, especially ones where love is the main focus.

She’s since put out several books and series under the pseudonym Ari Thatcher. She’s had a lot of success as well as positive reviews where her writing has been described as compelling and her characters intriguing.

The author has wanted to be a writer since she was young. She told a neighbor when she was eight or nine years old that for her career, she wanted to be a writer. However, she made sure to point out that when it came to writing the stories down, it wasn’t her favorite thing. She was inspired to write a book of her own when she was twelve years old, having finished the book The Outsiders by author S.E. Hinton. She finished most of the novel more or less, complicated by her aversion back then to writing those stories down.

When starting out, Aileen wrote works that included young adult fantasy set in a parallel world that involves the mythology of Native Americans. She wrote that piece thanks to the assistance from Ray Faraday Nelson while at a writing workshop hosted by Writer’s Digest. She wrote mainly in the dark fantasy genre at that time, eventually breaking out into other genres. The first time she successfully sold a story was her short fiction “Saturday Night” which came out in After Hours Magazine in 1991.

Ari Thatcher is the creator and the author of the Devil’s Promenade. This series of fictional novels first started off in 2011 with the publication of the debut story, Immortal Temptress. The second novel in the series came out shortly after and is titled Renegade Wolf. The third novel was published in 2016 and is titled Bewitched Familiar.

In this story, readers meet the main character of Enya for the first time. She has a job that most people would probably find pretty interesting if they knew anything about it. Enya’s career involves helping the dead, escorting them along the way as they start the final journey of life. Her job is actually very important, just as important as it sounds, because she has to help the souls make their path to heaven and prevent a demon from taking their bodies.

Enya has been able to go about her duty and carry out her task for decades, never getting affected or letting her emotions getting involved. But something is different this time. Now she’s expected to escort the soul that comes from Kane Sullivan. She thinks that a muscular body like that would be a horrible waste. But more than that, she hates the idea that of Kane dying.

Enya knows that when it comes to deaths, she’s not supposed to get her feelings involved. But this time it’s so hard. As for Kane, he’s taken notice of Enya. He’s also started to notice that the string of accidents that he’s been having that almost end in his death have all occurred when Enya was around too. She was literally present for all of those times.

Kane thinks that Enya’s really attractive, but he also thinks that it’s a little strange that she would physically be there for all of these incidents. Anyone in his situation would be tempted to think that maybe she’s linked to things or is bad luck in some type of way. After all, if he has to die in order to be near her or get to know Enya a little better, it’s not really going to lead to a romance because he won’t be here anymore.

Everything changed when Kane finds out that this beautiful girl isn’t a bad omen. She’s actively fighting to try and save his life and his soul. This is incredibly relieving in one way, since a woman is trying to keep him alive and so far is succeeding. The bad news is that his time has been decreed and she’s the only thing standing in the way.
