Nikita Parmenter is a successful published author of fiction.
When it comes to writing, for this author, it’s something that has never been optional. She says that it is something that is integral to her existing, something just like eating and breathing. Nikita relays that every day she is thankful to have the chance to make a career out of something that brings so much pleasure to her.
When it comes to getting her first break in the world of publishing, it wasn’t easy to get there. Nikita says that she was very fortunate to have a literary agent as a close friend who saw her potential all the way back in 2000. That would serve as the start of the first chapter of her professional literary life. Ever since then, she has jump-started her literary career and has released a variety of not only short stories but books that have hit the tops of the bestselling charts.
Home is the first book in the Finding My Home series by Nikita Parmenter. If you have been looking for an easy to read romance, this might be the book for you. Readers should be advised that it is a medium-burn contemporary reverse harem romance that may contain some m/m pairings. It also has some dark themes inside the story, such as cursing, violence, and abuse. The sexual themes in this book mean that the content is intended for mature readers who are eighteen years or older. Additionally, all of the sexual content that takes place inside of the story is consensual.
Ever is the main character in this book. She was friend with some boys when she was younger and they were her whole world, but then just like that, everything ended up falling apart. She had no chance to say goodbye to them and could not tell them that her father had finally gone off of the deep end and it wasn’t her fault.
Even if Ever had been able to tell her friends what was going on, it was likely that they may not have been able to understand. They were all only eight years old at the time and she had never before confided in them just how bad it had become. Perhaps if she had been able to she wouldn’t have found herself being in this situation that was so messed up, but there’s no way to tell.
Ever thinks that maybe she would not have had to have done the things that she had to in order to survive and had not seen a lot of the things that she did. If she had told them, maybe she would have had the chance to stay with the boys that she cared about so deeply and been around those that she loved.
She is surprised when life throws her yet another curve ball and she finds that she is gong back. Ever knows that she is going home, but even though she’s going back to her home, these guys are not little boys anymore. Although they still retain the traits of the boys that she knew and loved, Ever has to admit to herself that she doesn’t really know them the way that she used to.
Ever is also expecting that they are not going to remember her at all. She had to change a lot in life so that she could survive and keep herself protected. She’s not the same little girl that she was back then. Ever believes that she has become so different from the person that she used to be, she would be shocked if they recognize her because she doesn’t even recognize herself.
She’s worried that reconnecting is going to prove to be impossible and that she will lose them all once again. It’s going to be hell, because she was barely able to make it through losing them the first time around. Will they be there for her and can she really go home again and make things right? Read this romance in the Finding My Home series to find out!
Secrets Worth Keeping is the second book in the Finding My Home series by Nikita Parmenter. If you love a medium burn romance in the contemporary reverse harem genre, check this book out! As mentioned for the first book, this story contains adult themes that are intended for readers who are eighteen years of age or older.
When it comes to a vacation, it seems that it just couldn’t stay that way when it comes to Ever and the guys that she cares about. When Atlas came around, the longer that the group is around him, the more that they find that the mysteries surrounding him appear to grow.
They would be very interested to know that he not only is familiar with the new bartender that is in town but is also gives him questionable orders that are followed by the bartender with a smile and without hesitation.
When you include snow storms, jerks, and a hot tub, it appears that what is supposed to be a relaxing vacation is quickly becoming some type of wild rollercoaster ride. It does not seem that things are going to get any easier once the group gets home either, even though that is pretty much the only thing that they want.
The detective that is heading up Ever’s case ends up having some news that is going to shock everyone in the group. Suddenly the guys and Ever are thrown directly into a tail spin and they’re not sure how they are going to recover from it, if at all.
Ever and the guys know now that they are on some type of ride. Even if they want to get off of it, it seems like this ride is just getting started. They’re going to have to buckle up and try to deal with all of the twists and turns that are thrown their way. Will the group be able to make it through and can they find romance in the midst of everything? Read this second book in the Finding My Home series by Nikita Parmenter to find out!
