Fran Littlewood is a British published author.

She has an MA in creative writing that she received from Royal Holloway, University of London. There she was taught by Andrew Motion, passing with distinction. Prior to this, she was employed as a journalist and even worked for a while at The Times.

Fran is married and has three girls with her husband. Together they reside in the north London area. Her debut novel is titled Amazing Grace Adams.

Amazing Grace Adams is the first fictional novel to come out from Fran Littlewood. If you have been searching for something fresh and new that is not only funny but tough to forget, you will most likely enjoy this story of an every-woman who is taken to her limits and ultimately starts to push back as a result.

Grace Adams was just a regular woman and then suddenly time started catching up with her. It seemed like she had just given birth to her child and blinked and then years went by like nothing. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, she is 45 years of age. On top of that, she is peri-menopausal and has the unshakable feeling that she has stalled out in life.

Apparently the exact age that she is at is the unhappiest age that there is, at least according to the Guardian. She’s been doing a good job at keeping her feelings under wraps, but Grace Adams is about to find out that everyone has the potential to hit the wall eventually.

That day comes sooner than she thinks and without warning. Grace gets stuck in traffic, and out of nowhere, she decides that at last she has had enough. Everyone around her is surprised when she leaves her car and just walks away from it all, including her vehicle. Is it a mental break or is she finally seeing clearly?

Grace makes her way across London, with a two hundred pound cake in her arms, all with the purpose of winning over her teen daughter. They may be estranged, but it is her sixteenth birthday, and Grace thinks that this is her chance.

This is the day that it will happen, where she will get in touch with her daughter and be able to remind her that no matter how far we end up falling, it is always possible to get back up again. Grace Adams used to be so amazing.

Everyone in her life thought so. Her husband thought that about her, as did her daughter, and even Grace herself considered herself amazing. But it appears that lately, everyone has seemed to forget that about her. Grace is going to do her best to try and remind them and remind herself in the process.

Will she be happy with the results, or is she about to find out that all of the things that she loved about her life is behind her and she can’t make up the difference? Read this book from Fran Littlewood to find out!

The Accidental Favorite is the second book to come out from author Fran Littlewood. This New York Times bestselling author has delivered yet another novel for readers to enjoy, a dramatic tragedy and comedy that will not only move you but delves into the question that so many have asked ourselves before, whether or not our parents have a favorite.

When it comes to raising kids, Vivienne and Patrick Fisher feel that they have done a great job with their daughters. Alex, Nancy, and Eva have all grown up and have met all of their expectations. They are now grown women who are well-adjusted who have impressive careers, partners that care for them, hobbies that are exciting, and children who are sweet and adorable.

As a result, there is a lot of anticipation that builds as three different generations of the Fishers come together, gathering at a gorgeous glass house placed in the English countryside. They are there for a week to celebrate Vivienne’s seventieth birthday.

However, when Patrick has a reaction to a freak accident that occurs on the trip’s first day, it ends up showing something more. Without meaning to, he shows that he has a favorite daughter. The revelation of this information is something no one is prepared for, and no one is ready for the shock waves that it sends throughout the entire family.

Suddenly, sibling rivalries that have gone on for decades are revealed. While these are unmasked, it also comes out that no one has secrets that are safe. Whether it’s habits of smoking, long time crushes going back through the years, or doubts held privately about small and large life decisions, everything is suddenly getting dredged up again.

Wounds that are still tender are opened once more, with an audience around them of husbands, friends, grand-kids and co-workers. While the past of the family is written once more, everyone discovers that all of a sudden they have detached from their formerly secure place.

Taking a look at everything from family to relationships to sisterhood and memory, the author shows readers that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Can the family survive this, or will they find that this unsettling event is the beginning of the end of their closeness? Read this fascinating book to find out!
