Jo Lovett is a published author. She is known for writing romantic comedy stories that are meant to make the reader feel good and warm your heart!
Jo today resides in the city of London along with her family. She began writing romantic comedy stories when she realizes that she was always asking her oldest son to let her do his English homework– but she wasn’t all that interested in Macbeth or haunted houses.
When she is able to get away from her mountain of laundry, Jo likes to take some time out to enjoy tennis, reading, and wine.
Meet Me Under the Clock is a 2025 novel by Jo Lovett. If you are a fan of authors such as Sophie Kinsella or just love a light bit of romance, you cannot go wrong with this book.
For many of us, sometimes love is bound to occur when you are least expecting it. Nadia and Tom get stood up by their dates while they are standing under the clock at Waterloo Station. It’s something that would normally be something that makes people sad, but it turns out that fate has put them together in the strangest of circumstances and decided to start something new.
What begins as a wonderful story to be told at dinner parties in the future ends up blossoming into a friendship between the two as Tom and Nadia realize both that they have found the ideal partner in crime. They have been tired of dating for a long time but are still always needing a plus one to bring with them for events such as parties and weddings.
Nadia and Tom initiate a relationship that is purely pretend, but as the events go on and time goes on, the pair start to wonder whether they really do have a connection. The draw between the two of them seems more real and they begin to examine if there is more to it than just convenience.
At the end of the day, this could be the relationship that they have been looking for all along. It started off as something fake, but will it turn into something real? Something more than what they had even been hoping for? Anything is possible in this heartwarming and sweet romantic comedy.

It’s Not Me, It’s You is a 2025 novel by Jo Lovett that fans of romantic comedy will not want to miss. This is a story that is all about finding ‘the one’ in the place that you may have least expected it.
One cynic enters into a bet that they are never going to forget. Freya has a pretty cool life, choosing to write romance novels for a living. She is doing pretty well since she is a bestselling writer. On the page she believes in happy endings but when it comes to being off the page, she doesn’t believe in them at all.
Then there’s Jake. He is a divorce lawyer who is divorced himself. Despite all of this, he is someone who pretty strongly believes in romance himself. This is all in spite of the fact that he spends each day witnessing the results of what happens when those relationships that started off all about being in love end up falling apart.
Things take a turn for Freya and Jake when they have a disagreement in public about modern love and a television news segment ends up capturing it. The clip of them interacting ends up going viral. To put the debate to bed, they decide that they’re going to make a bet.
Freya and Jake agree that Jake will work to try and find Freya her perfect match in the world. Meanwhile, Freya will do her best to try and show Jake that romance is something that belongs in fairy tales and fiction and is best left there.
The rules of their bet are easy, but the stakes have never been higher. One thing that Jake and Freya are able to agree on: they have incredible chemistry together that cannot be denied. Will they end up getting what they wanted? Or will they find that the love between them is the real prize? Read this romantic comedy from Jo Lovett to find out!
