Linda Huber is a published author.

She admits that she has always been a reader for a long time back. She started out reading works by authors such as Enid Blyton and Arthur Ransome. Since then, she’s moved on to devour the works of writers such as Agatha Christie, Dorothy Sayers, and Mary Higgins Clark, as well as so many others that it’s difficult to list all of them.

These days, the author says that she writes her own books. She often works on different stories at the same time, such as writing a psychological suspense novel under her own name and then a feel good novel using her pen name, Melinda Huber.

The author grew up in Glasgow, Scotland. She then went to Switzerland to work there for a year when she was 22 years old, and ever since then she has lived there. Day jobs she has had include working as a physiotherapist in hospitals and schools for handicapped children, as well as teaching English in an actual medieval castle. She also spent years being a full time mother to her two sons as well as a rescue dog and a variety of goldfish and guinea pigs.

Linda resides in Switzerland. She makes her home in a small town located on the banks of Lake Constance. Her first novel to come out was The Paradise Trees, a psychological suspense novel that came out in 2013. It was followed by many more. She has also had multiple short stories and articles of her released. Some can be found in the charity collection of short stories, The Saturday Secret.

A fresh start, and a new life. Emma is freshly pregnant and looking forward to enjoying it, but has everything disrupted by some news from her spouse. She is startled when Luke, her husband, tells her that they are going to be changing homes and swapping with his parents.

It does make sense on some level. Luke grew up in this rural idyll, and it seems like the perfect place for them to get their family started. But when it comes to Luke’s demeanor, something about it is setting off alarm bells for Emma. His manner implies that something odd is going on, something that Emma isn’t really able to conceptualize.

It feels like there are so many secrets going on and not enough truth, which Emma dislikes since they are after all in a marriage. They swap houses and Emma does her best to try and adapt to the new life that they have together in the countryside of Yorkshire. On top of that, a chance discovery makes her even more suspicious and she decides to take the liberty of looking into it a little more.

They say that you should be careful what you wish for, and this time is no exception. But you also sometimes have to be careful about what you are uncovering as well. Emma is also going to have to get to the bottom of why the locals seem to be acting so strangely. Her husband is acting oddly as well.

Will she be able to get to the bottom of why she feels her husband is acting so strangely? Can they get through the wall of silence or is Emma doomed to be stuck in a strange arrangement and just having to adapt to it endlessly? Read this fascinating novel to find out!

Holly is a wildlife vet and when it comes to her life, everything about it seems to be brimming with bliss. Her spouse Dylan is also the man of her dreams. She is busy with a career that is completely rewarding and on top of that, she has a gorgeous home that is simply lovely.

Then there’s something that is bothering her and it gets worse every day instead of resolving. She feels that Dylan is becoming very distant from her and she wants to know why. It feels like there is a crack that is growing between them, between their relationship. Then a shocking discovery that is made feels like it has the ability to change just about everything that they know.

There’s also the matter of Dylan’s family. He has a twin Seth and a mother Elaine, who is a widow who is also known to enjoy a glass of sherry or two every once in a while. It feels as though nothing in Elaine’s life is simple or easy.

She’s also working to bring up her teen granddaughter Megan, all while the family does their best to get over the loss of Megan’s mother. When a tragic event means that the family’s foundation is completely shook up, it doesn’t take too long for Holly’s life to quickly start coming apart at the seams.

Dylan appears to become even more distant and is further away than ever. Megan is on her own, completely uncertain, and Seth goes even further into himself. The ties that once held all of them are coming apart.
