M.P. Woodward is a bestselling author who has hit the charts of the New York Times for their works. He is known for writing the Tom Clancy and Jack Ryan Jr. books. He has also written a war fiction thriller called Red Tide and more, such as the Handler CIA espionage series, released by Penguin Random House.

Woodward was a naval intelligence officer before he decided to move over to work a career in the tech field. He has worked as part of United states intelligence ops as well as the entertainment industry. Working as a naval intelligence officer with the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, he worked to script scenario moves as well as countermoves for U.S. war game exercises in the Middle East.

As part of many different deployments to the Persian Gulf and the Far East, the author worked alongside and with the U.S. Special Forces, the C.I.A., and the N.S.A. Later, he would make his way into the private sector as an executive for the media streaming industry. He has run international partner distribution on behalf of Amazon Prime and Prime Video as part of his work. He resides in the Pacific Northwest area.
