Malcolm Gaskill is a published author and is also an Emeritus Professor of Early Modern History at the University of East Anglia, in Norwich, U.K.

Malcolm is an expert when it comes to witch beliefs as well as the witchcraft trials of the 16th and 17th centuries. He has written about them in depth. He also has other areas of interest, such as crime, the law, mentalities, emotions, and spiritualism.
