Marianne de Pierres is a published author of fiction. She also writes crime stories under the pen name of Marianne Delacourt.

She says that her journey with words started when she was eight years old with a rip-off of Enid Blyton that was called ‘The Splendid Six’. Her sister typed it out for her on an old typewriter and all the way through made word substitutions.

Her boyfriend and future husband gave her the book Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke when she was twenty years old to read, and it opened up a world of imagination. Until her third son was born, though, the science fiction and her own writing didn’t come together.

Marianne has since become part of the writing community. There she has made some of her dearest friends in the Vision writers group of Brisbane, which was founded by Marianne de Pierres and Cory Daniells.

She is known for writing the Parrish Plessis trilogy as well as the Sentients of Orion series and the Peacemaker series. The trilogy has been translated into many different languages and has been made into a role-playing game, and the Peacemaker series is being made into a novel adventure game.

She has also written stories for children and young adults, such as the Night Creatures trilogy. She supports genre fiction and has been a mentor to many authors. She resides in Brisbane, Australia. She writes the Tara Sharp crime series under her pen name Marianne Delacourt.

Peacemaker is the first book in the series by the same name by Marianne de Pierres. If you have been looking for something unique to enjoy, be sure to check this work out and see what you think!

Virgin Jackson is a senior ranger at Birrimuri Park. This is the last natural landscape in the world, that is overshadowed by a huge coastal mega-city.

Virgin works to maintain the sense of public safety as well as order in the park. However, her bosses have brought in a cowboy to assist her with catching some drug runners who are of course affecting tourism.

She thinks that the company is keeping something from her, and she also knows that she’s not terribly excited to be working with Nate Sixkiller, an outsider. When an imaginary animal reappears from her troubled teen years, Virgin sees it that it could mean either a breakdown impending for herself or a warning.

Worse, dead bodies start piling up around her. She decides that it is a warning. She thinks something horrible is going to happen in the park and not only that, but she and her new partner U.S. Marshall Nate are in its way. Will they be okay, or should she have heeded the warning more? Read this book to find out!

Mythmaker is the second book in the Peacemaker series by Marianne de Pierres. If you read the first book in the series, keep things going with this sequel!

Virgin is finding that she’s in a difficult spot. She has a murder rap over her head that probably is not going to go away unless she agrees to work for the Global Joint Intelligence Commission.

It’s one thing to be blackmailed, but it is another thing entirely to find out that her mother is alive and that she’s also the president of the GJIC. There is also the uptick in Mythos sightings as well as the bounty that is on her head.

Hamish seems to be the only person that she can rely on. Life can be complicated, but can Virgin sort through all of this and make the most of it? Or is she doomed to fail? Read the second book in this series to find out!
