Mark Sibley is a published author, war gamer, and corporate crisis manager.

He has worked to develop and to help facilitate well over a hundred war games for different organizations over the years. He has also worked to manage a lot of real world crises for these same organizations.

The experience that he gained doing so combined with his life long dream to one day write a novel resulted in plenty of fertile ground to take the different aspects of this story and turn it into the manuscript that would eventually become the published work Mongol Moon. He notes that if someone attempts to tell a war gamer that a particular bad thing can’t happen, they will work hard to find a plausible scenario just to prove you wrong.

Mark has been a native of Virginia for his entire life. He is married and resides in the Commonwealth with his family. This consists of his wife, their three children, and their group of terriers. There is also typically a foster dog at their house at any given time to add to their little pack of dogs.
