Main character Detective Jordan Delany has a skill that not many others have. Call it a gift. Through her dreams, Jordan is able to connect with the dead victims of violent crimes. She works as a drug cop, and this isolated existence is ideal for being able to hide the freakish visions.

Her newest investigation has her working and pretending to be a cocktail waitress in a strip club that is fairly down and dirty. When a handsome stranger saves her from the leering of a drunken customer, Jordan can’t deny that a certain heated chemistry is passing between them.

But this chemistry is just why she wants to keep a buffer and keep this guy at bay. But finding out that he is the new bouncer for the corrupt club that she wants to bust might be the one reason that she can’t do that.

Tyler McGee thinks that there might be a reason why the streets of his hometown are being flooded by heroin, and it might have something to do with the drug ring that is working out of the local club.
