Lunar Witch is the first book in the Phases of the Moon series by M. Sinclair. If you have been looking for a fresh new read that combines romance and fantasy, then be sure to check out this debut in the series!

The main character in story story is Deva. She made a promise to herself once that no man would ever own her again. It was something that she told herself upon going through a horrible childhood that was full of abuse. There she had been trained to be violent against witches who were unblessed.

Ever since then, Deva had taken to the streets. She was able to survive while out there by becoming a skilled pickpocket. It allowed her to provide for herself without harming too many people in the process, and she wasn’t going back to where she started before.

But the one thing that she didn’t count on was a nemesis coming back out of nowhere. After hiding for years, the monster who was the star of all the nightmare she had at night was somehow closer to getting her than ever. Deva’s only solution at this point is to go and find refuge at the Dark Imaginarium Academy.

This is a place that is filled with some of the most elite witches in society. Deva should have thought that she would have run into some of her former targets here, but somewhere in the back of her mind she knew that some of them could be there. Usually that wouldn’t have even have been a big deal because she was fairly certain that they didn’t know that she was the one who had stolen from them.

No harm, no foul. But then there was the exception of her last hit. What she took from him was something that Deva could never forget. It was embedded into her chest, and he was upset about it. That apparently hasn’t gone away, because he’s still acting completely psychotically. He’s not the only one, either.

There’s a blood witch who is addicted to her taste, a lunar witch who wants to scare her into submission, an unblessed who wants to literally dissect her, and a shadow witch who enjoys marking up her body to show that she owns her.

All of these men want nothing more than to claim her, to reach out and own her, and by extension own the treasure that she has. But all the while, she would never reach out to them back and break the promise that she had made to herself not too long ago.

When her past ends up going after her right into the very same location that Deva thought would be a safe haven, she discovers that these insane men might just be the thing that she needs if she wants to get rid of her problem on a permanent basis. The only issue that she can find with that for the moment is that these guys are convinced that Deva has never gone through the type of horror that would be needed for that to happen, and they think that they must protect her from it.

What they don’t get is that killing can hurt the soul. And when it comes to souls, Deva feels that hers is pitch black. Will these guys clamoring over her and all trying to claim her as their girl get the message that she’s not interested? Or will she finally find that one of them is suitable for her?

Find out by getting a copy of Lunar Witch, a book by M. Sinclair that has characters that are all eighteen years of age or older. This is a book that is not a high school academy book, be forewarned! Everything inside is meant for a mature reading audience. Be aware that this book includes mature content, flashbacks of abuse, sex, PTSD, and violence.

Blood Witch is the second book in the Phases of the Moon series by M. Sinclair. If you thought the first book in this adult romance was good, then continue to follow along with Deva in this series set in the shared universe of the Dark Imaginarium Academy.

When it comes to romance, Deva’s heart was only for these men. Any defenses that she had going on against them were now starting to fail now that they know more about the truth of her past and the darkness that had been living under her very own skin.

When Deva is a witness to a ritual that has gone wrong, she discovers that she is even more connected to these men than before. She is taking steps to embrace the intensity of what was happening between them and the strength that it was giving her. Deva was going to need that strength, too, because as it turns out the academy was starting to be very dangerous.

Then suspicion comes upon her for all of the danger that is in the sector. Deva starts to figure out that her time at the academy may be shorter lived than she thought and while she thought that this was a chance to start over, it might end up being an experiment that never launched all the way.

Can Deva show that she’s not the person that people think that she is and also contend with the harem that wants her more than anything? Read the second book in the Phases of the Moon series by M. Sinclair to find out!
