She is part of the Ministry Seven, which is a group of street orphans that work for Agent Harrison Thorne of the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences. Working under Agent Harrison Thorne’s guidance, a new adventure begins for all of them looking into the unusual, the strange, and the bizarre.
When an Egyptologist from the British Museum is abducted, the only clue that they have takes them to the Delancy Academy, an elite school for gifted and young scientists. Now the Seven are being called upon to go where Ministry agents can’t go. Inside the school Verity gets to the bottom of an old evil that could mean the end of the world.
Just like that, the Seven are set to go down a risky path of mystery, intrigue, and murder. They also find that ancient curses happen to be even more difficult to deal with when you have your own chemistry assignments due the next day.
