Thomas Kelso is a published author as well as a physician.

He has a Ph.D. that he earned from the Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He would earn his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Kelso successfully completed his residency in orthopedic surgery.

He also served in the United States Navy for a total of nine years before he decided to enter into civilian practice. He writes thriller stories that are also based on innovations in medicine and science. He continues practicing orthopedic surgery in Brunswick County, North Carolina.
