Trevor Scott is one of the acclaimed authors from America, who likes to write mystery, suspense, and thriller novels. He is particularly well known for writing the Jake Adams International Thriller book series. The other popular novel series written by him include the Tony Caruso, Chad Hunter, and the Keenan Fitzpatriarch series. In addition to all these successful thriller series, author Trevor has also written a few standalone novels, short stories, and short story collection in his career. Along with writing thriller books, author Trevor enjoys fishing, trapping, and hunting in his free time. Trevor started his writing career in the year 1994 with the release of his debut standalone book titled The Company of Thieves. After the success of this book, he started writing the Jake Adams series, whose first book came out in 1998. Author Trevor was born in Duluth, Minnesota, United States. He spent his days growing up in Carlton. Trevor trained at the American Boy Scouts and obtained his Eagle Scout. Following this, he went on to work on the flight decks of 3 aircraft carriers in a dangerous environment. His job was to load weapons on the Navy aircraft and he carried out this job for a period of 4 years. Later, Trevor joined the Air Force and worked as an officer for 7 years. During this period, he was stationed in a number of missile units at the time of the communism fall. Trevor then became the commander of the 500 personnel in the B-52 Squadron at the time of the 1st Gulf War. Following his retirement from active duty, Trevor began exploring his interest in crime fiction novels. He started his writing career by writing espionage thrillers featuring Jake Adams as the chief protagonist. Trevor brought all his experience in the field to use while developing the plots of this series. Author Trevor holds a BA degree in the subject of English from the Minnesota University in Duluth. He has also obtained a Master’s degree from the University of Northern Michigan in creative writing.

Author Trevor is said to have traveled to as many as 75 countries of the world and has resided in Germany for a time of 3 years. He has also lived in 15 different states of the US and currently lives in Oregon and Nevada. Author Trevor retired from the Air Force with the post of captain. The honors from his time in the military include a Commendation Medal from Air Force with the cluster of oak leaf, an Achievement Medal from the Force, a Service Medal from the National Defense, a Good Conduct Medal from the Navy, a Commendation of Meritorious Unit from Navy, a silver German Schutzenschnur, and an Expert Marksmanship. Author Trevor has been married happily for over 30 years. He is blessed with a couple of fully grown sons, one of whom works as a software engineer, while the other is an author named Trevor Schmidt. Trevor has said that throughout his career, he has always tried to satisfy the needs of the readers. He knows what the readers want from him and tries to give them the same thing. And they have also given him a lot in return. They have always loved his novels and reviewed them with excellent reviews. Trevor says that he will always remain grateful to his fans, who have helped him to become what he is today. Over the course of his writing journey, he has been supported by his family and friends, and this has boosted his confidence in a great way. The Jake Adam International Thriller series written by Trevor Scott is comprised of 13 books in total, which were released between the years 2000 and 2017. Each and every book of this series features Jake Adams as the main lead, who is depicted as an ex-intelligence officer of Air Force and a current CIA officer. The character of Jake Adams also features in a short story series called as Cold War Espionage Mission. The first book of the series is entitled as ‘Fatal Network’. It was released by the Salvo Press publication in the year 2011, after its original release in 2000. At the start of the book, it is depicted that a technical representative and in charge of the avionics outfit at an Air Base of US, located in Germany, goes missing. At this point, Jake Adams is introduced into the plot as a CIA officer. He is hired to locate the whereabouts of the missing tech rep. During the investigation, a news erupts that the rep was involved in selling vital information to the enemies of US. But, it is seen just as a speculation as no hard proof is found relating to this news. Jake Adams finds it difficult to survive in the changed Europe as he realizes that making profit is more important for the people than ideologies. Soon, he finds himself entangled in a dangerous conspiracy, mystery, espionage, and murder, which takes him from the Italian coasts to river Rhine’s chilly banks. Throughout the investigation, Adams tries to keep the vital information from getting into the hands of the ruthless agents from Hungary and Germany. In doing so, he also gets involved in saving the life of his love interest.

The next book published in the series is titled ‘Extreme Faction’. It was also released by Salvo Press in 2011. This book’s story begins by showing that Jake Adams is employed to guard a couple of agri business honchos during a conference in Ukraine. He learns about the sudden death of an ex-biochemist from the Soviet Union. For the assassination of the famous biochemist, a deadly killer was hired. Jake Adams is asked to report back to the CIA headquarters in US under the orders of the president and is given the task of hunting down the assassin. It is later learned that the Kurdish terrorists are carrying out attacks on the world leaders from US to Germany with the poisonous nerve gas that was developed by the Soviet biochemist before his death. Jake Adams faces the difficult task of overcoming the interference from the double agents and discovering the political connections’ faction. At any cost, he is required to take down the dire scheme of the terrorists and prevent the killing of any other world leaders in order to establish world peace.
