It is under the ‘Alien Huntress’ Series and is about Mia Snow, an Alien Huntress for NCPD, New Chicago Police Department. Mia is unsurpassed in fighting the aliens that live amongst human beings. She leads the elite team of investigating and removing the aliens. Mia’s brother was killed by the aliens as she watched and she got her 2 scars from the encounter. There has been a number of killings that have compelled Mia and Dallas, her partner to track the alien suspects. Nevertheless, there has been an abrupt rupture of violence that forces Dallas to fight for his life.
Dallas has a chance to be saved and an alien, who is also a murder suspect, Kyrin en Arr shows up. Kyrin is a tall, sexy stranger who is from the Arcadian species. He has the healing power in his hand, but he demands a price in exchange. The alien wants Mia to surrender to him and offer him seduction. Mia is risking her work, and above all, her life. As Mia moves closer to the erotic alien, she discovers her personal, human needs and her heart desires. What follows next is something that will shock her for all she knew.
Gena Showalter Biography:
She is a USATODAY and New York times bestselling author of over 30 novels of diverse categories. She covers modern romances, mind-blowing paranormal, mystical humor and radical young adult novels. She was born in Oklahoma in 1975 and she sold her first book when she was 27. When Gena began writing, around in 2004, she was managing a part-time job, around the clock school and family. She struggled and successfully sold one of her books, and the sales encouraged her to write more. Gena doesn’t have a strict working/writing schedule as she works for one hour or 12 hours in some days. Primarily, she was an aircraft title searcher, prior to start writing. For that reason, she employs the plane knowledge in her characters, which spices the work even more.
With her writing style, she first drafts a rough work, then sets a daily target of a certain number of pages that she is aiming to edit and wrap up. She drafts the rough work easily when for some weeks as she thinks of how to bring out the characters in her novels. She uses notebooks and a voice recorder during her draft work. The two materials are normally used to write and voice out various scenes every time.
In her entire writing career, Gena has done more than 30 books that have touched the hearts and minds of many readers. Nevertheless, she has had some common authors who have inspired her in her writing. Some of her favorite authors that she loves their books include P.C Cast, Karen Marie, Moning, Charlaine Harris, Janet Chapman, Jill Monroe Katie MacAlister and Mary Janice Davidson. Gena can write her books from anywhere and at any time, she only tunes the outer world and gets in her story.
Some of the Settings that she has used in her books include New Mexico, Dallas, innovative Chicago (Awaken Me Darkly) and her personal description of Atlantis. Nevertheless, she has not visited all the locations that she has used in her novels. Palpably, she is afraid of height, and for that, she has a flight-phobia. She will often times use the Internet, or ask people who she knows and live in the respective locations.
Though she ventures in various genres, mostly romance, she has a high regard of humor, which must feature in every novel that she works on. Her books have also been featured in top media dialects like Cosmopolitan Magazine and the Seventeen Magazine. They have also been translated in different languages all around the globe. Some people criticize her books as ‘sizzling page turner’ or ‘completely spellbinding stories’, though she has been called a rising star herself.
Gena Showalter always believes in love and she is a passionate romance reader, who decides to give it a shot at creating her personal stories. She has become an author of leading mystical romances, which includes The Pleasure Slave, Heart of the Dragon and The Stone Prince. Her book, Awaken Me Darkly is a top seller in her Alien Huntress collections. In her books, she includes a blend of danger, humor and viciously hot sex that gives a reader a feeling of an outside world.
She is currently working on a new book, The Jewel of Atlantis, which is a story about a brother of the heroine from The Stine Prince, which she calls the most fantasy-filled book.
