As the first installment in the Earth Reclaim series, Earth’s Requiem is a fantasy novel that has been concocted with a little bit of paranormal romance. Apart from dragons, Earth’s Requiem is also filled with magic, Celtic Gods, demons, alien critters and dark gods. The protagonist in Earth’s Requiem is an extremely strong woman, who from the look of things appears to have lost everything in life. The heroine has lost her entire family, who apparently was taken by the demons who had breached the portals with the help of witches and naïve druids. It does not take long to the world that the heroine knew, was changed forever by the arrival of alien-like creatures. The aliens took over the world, after lying to humans that they would assist them in chasing demons. The great thing is that the heroine possessed magical abilities, thereby she came out and protected the earth.
However, as the protagonist continues to fight the demons and the aliens, she realizes that emotional attachments normally get in the way. With that said, it takes a gifted author to create a world that the readers can clearly see unfold in front of their eyes. Author Anna Gimpel is a brilliant author who weaves magical and fantasy tales brilliantly. Earth’s Requiem is an exceptional tale about hope, love, and survival. Author, Anna Gimpel has the ability to pack quite a punch. Earth’s Requiem begins with a bang and does not slow down at any one point. The protagonist, Aislinn is a very likable and quite memorable as well. Apart from being tough, Aiislin is also very determined.
Overall, Earth’s Requiem is an amazing narrative. Author Anna Gimpel clearly knows her world building. In Earth’s Requiem, the readers are thrust into a new world. It is then easy for the readers to get lost in Earth’s Requiem. The concept of the aliens coming and taking over the world and eradicating it in the process is quite scary. The protagonist, Aislinn wants to destroy these animals and the dark gods as well. Furthermore, the journey that Aisling embarks on is quite dangerous. The turns and twists in Earth’s Requiem are very insane. Apart from being fast-paced, Earth’s Requiem is also full of imagination.
To Love a Highland-Dragon
To Love a Highland Dragon is the second installment in the Dragon Love book series. Author, Anne Gimpel has done an excellent job of creating a world that is not only full of romance but also an adventure. In To Love a Highland-Dragon, author Anne Gimpel introduces the readers to Dr. Maggi Hibbins, who has been on a psychiatric fellowship for more than a year. The last thing that Dr. Maggie Hibbins might expect is to see a man who had dressed strangely getting out of a thicket. After talking to the strangely dressed man, Dr. Maggie comes to the realization that the strange looking man is from a different time zone. Lincoln, the man who climbed from the thicket, is from the 1500’s. Apart from being a dragon shifter, Lancoln had the ability to detect witches. Immediately Lancoln met with Dr. Maggie; he immediately knew that she was a witch.
Will Dr. Maggie be able to trust the God’s once more and this strange looking man? From the look of things, their fate is definitely in their hands. Despite the fact that Lancoln does not know anything about this strange world that he has woken up in, he is certain of one thing, the lust that he feels towards Dr. Maggie, the protagonist. Lancoln is also aware that he must ensure that Dr. Maggie becomes his because the fate of the entire universe rests on their hands. According to the prophecy, a witch and a dragon shifter re going to become one and together the two will become one and in the process put an end to the evil that will be unleashed on the world. With that said, author, Ann Gimpel is a brilliant author. To Love, a Highland-Dragon is an exceptional love story that is full of funny moments that revolve around witches and dragons.
Winning Glory
Winning Glory is the first installment in the GenTech book series, a series that revolves around genetically enhanced human beings. The Nameless Ones are the villains in the GenTech book series. Apart from keeping the women imprisoned, the Nameless Ones only allow them to leave after their evil bidding. Furthermore, the Nameless Ones are also responsible for the destruction of the various human labs where they were created. In Winning Glory, author Ann Gimpel introduces the readers to Glory, who happens to be one of the genitacally enhanced ladies. As expected, Gloria does not remember her life, before she was genitaclly altered. The only thing that Gloria knows is that she needs to get away from the Nameless Ones.
Apart from Glory, author Ann Gimpel also introduces the readers to Roy Kincaid, the CIA agent, who has sworn his life to hunting down the Nameless Ones. In the initial pages, Glory appears to be misinformed, however as the narrative progresses, Glory’s maturity level continues to rise. Will the rebels be able to put an end to the menace that the Nameless Ones are creating? Furthermore, are the women going to be liberated and be able to join the ranks? Overall, Winning Glory is a well-written narrative. A narrative that has the potential of drama , romance and more suspence. Author, Ann Gimpel has amanged to weave web of romance and intrigue into the narrative, thereby making the readers want more.
