Becca Van resides in Australia in Victoria. She always had a secret desire to try her hand at writing. Becca finally decided to do it and started writing for the first time in 2010! She has been writing stories ever since.
Van had her first two series debut the same year in 2011. The Terra-Form and Slick Rock series each have their own appeal. However, the Slick Rock series of fictional novels do have more in the series. The author has been exclusively writing with Siren BookStrand ever since 2011. Van has written a variety of series since that September started. Her series have a wide range and have been occupying all types of genres. Everything from sci-fi to contemporary fiction and cowboy to paranormal shapeshifters, werewolves, and more have been covered by this author.
She also has written some stories that can be read on their own, so there is a bit of everything for everyone to enjoy from this author. Whether you are searching for something with plenty of adventure or something with aliens in it, you can find it with something from this talented writer.
Becca Van is the creator and the author of the Terra-Form series of fictional novels. The series first became available to readers in 2011. That is when the debut novel in the series came out. It is titled Alpha Panthers. The second book in the romance series would soon followed, titled Tainting Olivia. It came out in 2012 along with the third book, Keeley’s Opposition, which made the series a trilogy.
Alpha Panthers is the exciting first novel in Van’s Terra-Form series. It could technically belong to a genre called romantic paranormal. This is a book that is definitely for readers that are over the age of 18 and so is the whole series, so be sure that you are of appropriate age before reading on or purchasing this series!
That being said, this first novel features the main character of April Waterson. In this debut romance novel, readers get the chance to start seeing what April’s life is like.
She has a pretty fun everyday existence and likes her job. She is saying goodbye to a friend one night, something that she always does. Her work colleague also happens to be her best friend, and she is waving her farewell to her after their night going out on the town.
It’s their ritual and they go out every Friday to get some dinner and chat over drinks. It’s always fun to try and depressurize after a long work week with someone you like hanging out with.
April had a great time like she always does. What’s not to love about hanging out with someone that you adore? But when she is making her way to a cab stand, she suddenly finds that she doesn’t feel so well. Feeling ill, her vision starts to blur and she isn’t sure what is happening. Perhaps the waiter put something in her drink as a horrible prank, or she is having a stroke, or maybe passing out.
When she finally feels awake and her vision starts to clear up, she knows for a fact that she has no idea where she is. She appears to be in some type of forest, but it is not anywhere that she has been before. There are huge trees all around her and she feels tired. Even though she has no idea where she is, she actually falls asleep.
When April wakes up, she finds that she is in a huge mansion with a design similar to that of a palace. In the mansion are two Alpha panthers. Both of them have the ability shape shift and are named Saxon and Gage Kian. They each think that this woman will be intended to be their mate. April has no idea what’s going on, at all.
She feels a little strange being in this huge mansion and wants to get out, so she does her best to escape. The thing is that she doesn’t know anything about this forest at all, and since shape shifters appear to be real, anything could be out there. She ends up needing to be rescued. Who should come to her aid but a different shape shifter, this time in the form of a bear?
The bear comes with a name, and that name is Ben Koku. He also believes that this woman is destined to be his mate. But in this case, he doesn’t just believe it. He knows it is the case. He just requests that April choose to accept the claim that he has made. Only then will be fully able to assist her when it comes to dealing with the panthers.
April needs all the help that she can get because these panthers are arrogant as well as dominant. She decides that she will accept his generous offer to assist her. The only thing is that the other two guys still think that she actually is meant for them.
Can April get through this odd love situation in order to come out on the other side? She’s in a strange magical land that she doesn’t quite understand. Can she survive it and get back to her world, or will she want to stay? Read this book to find out!
Tainting Olivia is the second novel in the Terra-Form series. In this book, readers meet Olivia Hammond for the first time.
Olivia discovers that she’s on Terra-form. This is an alternate reality and there she discovers April– her missing best friend. Meanwhile, two panthers named Hugh and Cedric want her as their mate.
Olivia isn’t interested, keeping them squarely at a distance. She wants to get back home but gets rescued by the panthers when she gets lost. When a different male wants her as his mate, When she gets kidnapped, will she be rescued? Read to the end to find out!
