When Forever Changes
When Forever Changes is the first book in the Forever Love series. The story features Gabby, a young woman who anticipates an easy planned out life together with the love of her life, Dylan. Gabby met Dylan at the age of ten, and from then, she knew that he will always be a part of her. In Gabby’s mind, Dylan is her present and the future. Things between them are going great until life throws Gabby a curveball. Dylan changes, and Gabby starts to think that she may not be good enough for him. Gabby’s heart is crushed when Dylan shows her time and again that the man she loves is not ready to be there for her when she needs him most.
Slater has loved Gabby for ages. However, he has never expressed his feelings for her. In her lowest moments, Slater shows up and is there every step of the way. Slater is careful not to blur the lines between his feelings and the friendship he shares with Gabby. Just like any hero, he does what is best for Gabby. At some point, offers her a second chance to a happily ever after. The two come to realize that they have deep feelings for each other, but Gabby and Dylan’s situation still have the two confused.
A lot is going on in this story. While Dylan’s betrayal makes Gabby feel like dying, she stays strong. The good thing is that she is not alone. She has a knight in shining armor who does not disappoint one bit. Gabby’s family is also quite supportive. You are going to love Dylan, then hate him, and love him again when you realize that he still cares for Gabby deeply. Whatever Gabby goes through is painful, but it is refreshing to see how the young woman handles it and overcomes in the end. Gabby took whatever was supposed to break her and turned it to her advantage. There are other interesting characters to meet and a few twists and turns you will barely see coming.
When Forever Changes is a captivating romance story that is sure to test your heart and turn you into an emotional wreck, Gabby is a lovable character, and your heart will break with hers when life hands her some lemons. Despite the heartbreak, Gabby is no quitter, and with the help of Slater as well as her loving family, she survives. Slater is the hero in this story, and he does not disappoint. He turns into the man who stands up for a friend and sees her through the worst. If you are looking for a deeply emotional yet fascinating story, this book is ideal. There will be a lot of tears, but you can be sure that it will be well worth it in the end.
