The author’s always wanted to write novels ever since she was young. She always had a love for books, and her passion for stories, words, and books began when she was a child. That is when her mother would take her brothers and herself to go to the local library, packing everyone into their wagon. She loved the library and found it to be magical, since every book linked to a new different world. Jabberwocky was her favorite poem when she was younger, and she liked the authors Edgar Allan Poe and Agatha Christie.

Shéa lived in London for six years, but the lack of ability to get any good donuts there meant that a change of scenery was due. So the author instead went back to the hometown that she knows best, Portland, Oregon. She lives in green hills full of leaves just outside of Portland and there indulges herself in her passion for many things that includes strong coffee, dragons, lemon curd, and reruns of Ancient Aliens. She says that everything is better if there are dragons in it.

Shéa MacLeod created and wrote the Lady Rample series of fictional novels. Readers first got introduced to the series in 2017 when the debut novel, Lady Rample Steps Out, was published.
