Suzanne Jenkins
Suzanne Jenkins lives with her dogs, sheep, and her husband after living in New Jersey for thirty years. She has been married to her husband for a very long time, and has two kids and seven grandkids with him. They live in the isolated mountains, rarely leaving its sanctuary. It’s such a wonderful place to hide out and write.
She is a retired nurse that worked in the Operating Room for many years. Before attending nursing school, she was an OR technician. She did her training at Marygrove College, and the clinical experiences they had took place in the Detroit Medical Center.
She remembers going to this mandatory autopsy in the morgue at Detroit General. She was so relieved; the one and only thing that was going on the day she was scheduled to observe was the dissection of a brain. After she working in the OR for more than thirty years, she cannot stand the sight of blood.

“The Greeks of Beaubien Street” is the first novel in the “Greektown” series and was released in 2012. Nestled just below Detroit’s skyline you will find Greektown, just a few short blocks of Greek food, colorful bliss, and warm people. Jill Zannos, despite growing up immersed in the safety of her family and their rich culture, does not fit in.
As a Detroit homicide detective, she manages to keep a foot planted firmly in the traditions her grandparents began, as the other navigates the most devastated neighborhoods in the city that she cannot help but love. She’s a no nonsense workaholic without any girlfriends, a strange boyfriend that refuses to grow up, and an uncanny intuition that she inherited from her mystic grandma which acts as her secret weapon to her success solving crime.
Her story winds around anecdotes about her family and their secret laden history, as she investigates the most despicable murder of her entire career. “The Greeks of Beaubien Street” is a modern story of a family grounded in old world, sometimes archaic, tradition while seeking acceptance in American society. They could be any nationality, yet they are Greek.
“She’s Having a Baby” is the first novel in the “Saints of San Diego” series and was released in 2019. Mike Saint noticed Aisling Murphy as they walked the moonlit beach finally. During this graduation party, Aisling and Mike were beachcombing for treasure. He asked about who this Saint Dwynwen was, looking up from the medal that they had found in the sand.
Her eyes glistened in the moonlight, taking Mike’s breath away. She is the saint of lovers, she whispered the worst fire season in the history of California would ultimately test their love.
“Special Delivery” is the second novel in the “Saints of San Diego” series and was released in 2019. When Tony Saint, a firefighter, first laid eyes on EMT Bridget Clark, it was love at first sight. Not for her that much, but close.
She was the mom of an infant from this one night stand, however he did not care, and that melted her reluctant heart. The Saints embraced her as well doing everything that they were able to welcome her to the family.
Then a surprise would put their love to the test. When the unexpected happened, it was that love that would carry them on through any trial.
“Burning for the Nanny” is the third novel in the “Saints of San Diego” series and was released in 2019. Big Mike and Roberta’s fourth son, named Leonardo or Leon, is a player. Following in the footsteps of his namesake grandpa, brothers, dad, and uncle he graduates from the fire academy and gets hired at Station #34 where he starts his career as a firefighter.
However during his first week on the job, a surprise visitor shows up, and it’s somebody he hardly remembers from their one-night stand, shows up on his parents’ doorstep with demands that he is not ready to make, including the possibility that he could jeopardize his job at the firehouse.
And then Ava, a gorgeous neighbor with a reputation, comes to save the day. Are Big Mike and Roberta’s animosity toward Ava going to be enough to discourage Leon from succumbing to her charms? Or is his need for her going to force him to finally grow up, once and for all?
“Alison” is the first novel in the “Girls in the City” series and was released in 2020. Alison Saint finishes medical school and lands the coveted surgical residency at her dad’s alma mater in San Diego, however it means telling Eddie goodbye once and for all. The very first week in the OR, she catches the hunky chief resident’s eye.
She does not want to start anything with Rich Mortimer though since that transition she is longing for is in the plan. Yet her heart’s got other ideas. What is in in store for Alison Saint?
“Joan” is the second novel in the “Girls in the City” series and was released in 2020. Once Joan Greenway finishes law school in Chicago, she moves on back to her home town of Philadelphia and after she successfully passes the bar, she lands her dream job; working for the biggest criminal defense firm in all the city.

Alison’s husband Rich’s best friend and trauma surgeon, named Jake Thomas. Their chemistry is quite intense and Joan’s initial goal during this visit is to just keep their relationship just as platonic as humanly possible. However the universe has different plans.
