This is a romantic story that may end up proving to be as sweet as a macron straight from Laduree. It is set in Paris and is a story that is all about a ballerina from America as well as a charming French boy.

Mia Jenrow has always been in love with dancing and has from a very young age thought that her destiny was to become a professional ballerina. It appears to be in her blood because there is a family legend that one of her great-great-great grandmothers was once a dancer for the Paris Opera and was even painted by Degas.

Her parents think that it is simply a fantasy, but Mia has always thought that it was much more than that and it was her fate. Mia is getting ready to spend a summer in France getting ready to go after her dream, but not too long after she arrives in Paris she realizes that it might be slightly more complicated than she had hoped that it would be.

To begin with, there is her rival Audrey. Audrey is also there and is very competitive and is not going to stop at anything when it comes to getting the chance to show her up. Then there is her ballet instructor, who has really high standards that are also pushing her to the breaking point.

Then there is Louis. He’s charming and cute and wants to get to know Mia better and show her around the city. Mia is thrilled to hop on top of his Vespa and put her arms around him as they zip around the city and see such sights as the Eiffel Tower all lit up.

Mia thought that she was going to have a summer that was all about ballet, but she’s starting to see that there are other things to explore, too. Paris is referred to as the City of Love. Is Mia about to find out that the city has other things to offer her than just ballet? Can she achieve the dreams that she came here to accomplish, or is she going to end up being disappointed?
