Trevor Hoyle is a British published author.
Born in 1940, the author has also worked in different fields. He has been an advertising copywriter, an actor, and a lecturer on creative writing. All of this was before he transitioned to being a full time writer, focusing his efforts on mostly short stories and novels.
Trevor has also written and presented a weekly arts program and documentaries for Granada TV. Since the middle of the seventies, he has released a wide range of fiction. These range from mainstream novels to speculative fiction. This extends to The Last Gasp, a United States Doubleday Book Club Selection that has optioned to be adapted in Hollywood.
Seeking the Mythical Future is the first book in the Q series by Trevor Hoyle. If you have been looking for a science fiction read that is creative and original, check this book out and see what you think.
Main character Christian Queghan is a myth technologist in addition to being a respected scientist who lives on the planet that is known as ‘Earth IVn’. Just as the other different worlds were colonized generations back, Earth IVn was made with the intention of being as close to Old Earth as possible, even though Old Earth is the stuff of legend.
Now a machine has been made that will project a researcher into one of many infinite possible futures of Earth IVn. With just a 50% likelihood of return, Queghan seems like a great subject. Additionally, he cannot resist the idea of being able to go someplace that no one has ever been to before.
While sailing the ship Slave Trader across the oceans of Earth Ivn, the crew comes across a mysterious castaway. They have translucent skin and it’s branded with a Q. What will happen on their adventure and will they be able to survive it? Read this book to find out!
Through the Eye of Time is the second book in the Q series by Trevor Hoyle. If you thought that the first book in this series was interesting, check out this science fiction sequel to catch up with even more unique action!
On planet Earth Ivn, there is a group of scientists who are working hard trying to replicate the human brain. Out of all the possible candidates that exist, they have picked Adolf Hitler to be the prototype. It’s an odd choice to be certain, but the historical leader is the one they’ve chosen to go with.
While looking into research, Christian Queghan (myth technologist and scientist) shows everyone an alternate universe. In this world, things have gone completely differently. It was actually Germany in place of the United States that came up with the first atomic bomb.
Queghan has to avert the threat to the known reality. In order to do that, he first has to go into this alternate universe. Will he be successful in his endeavor, or was he always doomed to fail? Read Through the Eye of Time to find out what happens!
