Kristin Koval is an American published author.

She used to be a lawyer who had wanted to be a writer the whole time but went down other paths. While working on her debut novel Penitence, she finished a twelve-month novel generator class at Catapult Publishing.

Kristin is an alumna of the Sewanee Writers Conference and Aspen Summer Words. She also wrote a short story, “Inheritance”, which was picked as a finalist in the Salamander 2022 Fiction Contest.

Kristin went to Philips Exeter Academy, Georgetown University, and Columbia Law School.

Her novel Penitence reached a lot of people and made its way into being featured in different ways by different publications.
