Fugitive From Time is a 1978 science fiction book by Philip E. High. If you love a good science fiction novel that moves at a fast pace and is a fantastic escape from everyday life, this is the book for you.
The main character thought that he knew himself, his weaknesses, his strength, his limitations. He had a scary encounter with two different muggers that ended up changing everything. He also possessed knowledge that he didn’t have a conscious memory of ever learning.
He also had faculties that he did not know that he ever possessed and no memories outside of those of normal life, and life in which he had a different name. He couldn’t remember everything, but he knew enough to know that there were alien creatures who were after him and hunting him. With his memory waking up, he also knows that aliens would be able to detect him against so only flight is left. Follow a fugitive across the universe as he takes on his final confrontation with aliens and see how things turn out!
Blindfold from the Stars is a 1979 novel by Philip E. High. This is a classic science fiction story that sci-fi fans will not want to miss out on. From start to finish, this is a unique tale that feels like a movie is unfolding with the turn of every page.
The conquest of a galaxy is fairly easy, providing that the aggressor is equipped with the necessary technology and more importantly has a safe method where they can overcome opposition without being able to bleed to death in the process.
The Asdrake put out micro-organisms that were mutated and attacked the brain of the intelligent life of the planet. They liked to use this method. They could fight if they needed to, but they were really lazy and if something else worked they would go with it. This method worked on many different occasions, and they see no reason why it should fail on planet 5/6/9, also known as Earth.
Casualties from the epidemic were huge but in a paradox also could not kill a human being. However, the side effects took care of that, and they were beyond even the imagination of the Asdrake. The Earth had survivors, and they found more complications in building the world up with the use of their psychic powers. Were they even new powers at all, and if they aren’t, who removed them thousands of years in the past? Read this compelling science fiction book from Philip E. High to find out!
