This is an incredible debut novel that revolves around the storyline of two younger people who are looking for better lives as well as the romance that is blossoming between the two of them that could end up threatening their families, futures, and all that they’ve built in this story that continues to build with every page that is read.

Mira finds that her days are full of duty, and they don’t have too much freedom either. Mira is in a new country and residing with a husband that she barely knows and one that she is worried that she will never be able to truly love. With all of this going on, Mira really wants to find out all that her new life here in England might have to offer her.

Then there is also Tahliil, the beautiful and quiet man that she ends up seeing at work every day. The man has a deepness when you look into his eyes and his face was always full of questions. He may end up being the first person in this world who is able to listen to the hopes that Mira has for who she wants to become.

Even though they encounter each other at lunchtime, outside of that the two of them have lives that are incredibly different. They have duties that they are tied to and the homes that they want to build threaten to subsume them. Mira and Tahliil try to navigate their new worlds, but as they do, will they be able to find a way that they connect and can be together? Has finding the other been the one thing that could set them free or it will it all end in tragedy? Read this book from Manish Chauhan to find out!
