Alice Wilde is an accomplished published author.

She is a national bestselling author whose work has reached many readers and gained her many fans. She grew up nurturing a love for things like reading, animals, and art. Alice spent the majority of her time being outside with different pets and sisters, playing games that were equal parts emotional and dramatic that frequently made them cry. She also liked settling down to read in a good sunny spot that was sufficiently cozy.

Alice spent much of her teen years writing essays and submitting them as fantasy stories. These days she spends much of her time writing different romances in the genre of the fantasy paranormal that are filled to the brim with handsome men and magic. These are stories that she hopes will be able to spark just as much of a flame in readers as they do in herself.

She is usually surrounded by animals and spends much of her time coming up with new stories for her characters. She lives in Asia in a busy city with her cat, not seeing too much of the city since she is constantly dreaming things, writing them down, and living through the characters in her books. She does usually find some time in her life to go on a date in real life and says that everyone needs a little bit of inspiration from time to time.

Kiss of Death is the first book in the Tempting the Fates series by Alice Wilde. If you have been looking for something that is interesting to read and entertaining enough that it whisks you out of the real world and into another one entirely, this is the book for you.

For Hazel, she is wondering what she would give in order to save the person who really loves you. Would she give her life, love, her soul? Her mother passed away suddenly, and while life was not perfect after this happened, it was Hazel’s life, and she had grown to love it.

But now she is faced with the knowledge that it is the type of life that she will never be able to know again. Everything has changed so quickly and she simply doesn’t know what to do about it. Merelda has come into not only her life but her father’s, toting her two cruel sons along with her.

Her father had promised that he would never love again, but apparently that did not last long. Merelda showed up and quickly inserted herself into their lives. She quickly became the center of Hazel’s father’s world, and Hazel herself was pretty much forgotten and thrown to the wayside as a result.

Despite all of this, Hazel refused to complain, if only for the benefit of her father. But the hurtful words coming from her new step mother did not stop and instead evolved into even worse punishments, and Hazel’s new step family is officially a nightmare.

Hazel does not know what to do until she finds her father is on her deathbed and she has been sold off to a mean lord. Hazel knows that it is at last time to take things into her own hands and make an effort to save her father. She’ll do whatever it takes, including making a deal with The Bargainer.

If she fails, she’ll suffer horrible consequences as a result. She will not only be found, she will be beaten and then married off, where she could very well be killed. Succeeding means that her father will live but Hazel has no idea what the cost will be to her own life. Despite this, her life as she knows it is forfeit but she thinks that at least this way she will have the chance to choose her fate. But is she right about this?

One thing is for certain, and that is the fact that Hazel is going to do whatever it takes to save her father. Will it be enough?
