Going on a midnight date makes Maplewood increasingly feel like the type of place she really belongs and someplace she really wants to stay.

When one bad night leaves their lives tangled up in grief, Penny starts to become really scared that she’s a source of bad luck for the people she cares about. A cinder continues to glow while other things turn to ash, and every firefighter is used to running towards things that are worth saving.
